I guess between fall harvest and field work I missed both of these threads about the separator light coming on the MX series of tractors. Never had mine come on the MX6000 I have. Did any one get a recall in the mail or was the TSB found because you were having a problem. I will call my selling dealer and see if mine falls under the TSB. If that bracket is $800 dollars Kubota just a well buy me one to.
There is no recall involved.
It is a fix-as-fail (TSB) Technical Service Bulletin. It's a repair guide for service concerning a unique condition.

So would that mean that the dealer would need to verify the condition before ordering the kits? Some have the kits installed by the dealer and others receiving kits under warranty are able to install on their own. As I've mentioned a couple of times, I've never had the water in fuel light illuminate on either of the MX tractors I've owned, so if verification of the condition were required I'd be out of luck.

If I had an open station I would never pay out of pocket for the kit, so would either try to get a kit from the dealer, or failing that, make my own bracket. But less than $60 for a bracket that fits wasn't a big deal.

I installed the kit on my MX this morning. Access is a bit of a challenge but I figured it'd be easier to struggle for a bit rather than take off the loader and disconnect hydraulic hoses. The photos below show the before and after (some taken through the front glass), and the difference in the bolts used which have grown to accommodate the thickness of the bracket. I just noticed that I need to rotate the hose bracket a couple of degrees. 😂

Must have been a real bugger getting that coffee cup mounted around that steel line. LOL

I only recently noticed that ghostly image. 😂 It's a 6oz cup that I use every morning for a Cortado or three. It took me a while to find suitable cups, but I have four of them.
