LOL. I just talked with dealer parts and they are ordering one for me. The list price is $800+ but of course I will pay nothing.Nothing.
I don’t get it. The cab version is like $60, which would be reasonable, although high, if it had to be purchased. $800+ is just crazy thinking.LOL. I just talked with dealer parts and they are ordering one for me. The list price is $800+ but of course I will pay nothing.
It makes no senseI don’t get it. The cab version is like $60, which would be reasonable, although high, if it had to be purchased. $800+ is just crazy thinking.
Mine has been ordered by my dealer and they will ship to me when it comes in because they are out of state. Hopefully it’s a simple installation because I’ll have to do it myself.Good morning.
Replacement bracket has been installed.
The person that came to do the work was not aware of the cost of the bracket. It was also first bracket he had installed.
I did not bite the bracket to see if it was made of gold…but it seemed like a very simple blanked/stamped part made off a couple form blocks.
If you have a socket set, you should be fine. It took the person not more than 5 - 10 minutes and I think most of that was reading directions. I think the biggest challenge would be there is not much room to work with the loader on. But again it did not take the person very long .Mine has been ordered by my dealer and they will ship to me when it comes in because they are out of state. Yep. That chunk of steel is beefy. So they have added MASS to keep it from vibrating, if it works then great!
$800+ worth of beefyYep. That chunk of steel is beefy.
Value is in the eye of the beholder. For me, I spent a good chunk of income for my MX, of which warrantee was factored in, so I am happy it was covered. I hope you get your parts and that takes care of that pesky warning light too.$800+ worth of beefy
Good day. I just realized I did not get a pic on the unit, but here is a pic of the ‘super’ bracket in the tech’s hand. (Looks same as what @MOOTS shared. They also swapped out the fasteners)It'll be interesting to see the before and after photos. Did you dealer have any idea why the open station kit is listed at $800 wheres the cab kit is around $50?
I never received any notice. Called dealer with the TSB number @whitetiger posted and got the ball rolling.I guess between fall harvest and field work I missed both of these threads about the separator light coming on the MX series of tractors. Never had mine come on the MX6000 I have. Did any one get a recall in the mail or was the TSB found because you were having a problem. I will call my selling dealer and see if mine falls under the TSB. If that bracket is $800 dollars Kubota just a well buy me one to.

No notice was sent to registered owners.I never received any notice.
The bracket is a lot cheaper for the cabbed tractors. I paid less than $60 out of pocket and installed the new bracket in around 20 minutes. I posted photos of the "upgrade" so that other members can see the difference between the kits. I never had a water in fuel light illuminate when I had the MX6000HST and haven't with the MX6000HSTC either, but figured it was worth the cost and effort to get the TSB done.I guess between fall harvest and field work I missed both of these threads about the separator light coming on the MX series of tractors.
