Installed top link and blade angle cylinders. Top link should be real handy for fixing the driveway this summer with the box blade. The blade angle for snow this winter.
I did the same on my rear blade, you will really like it in the winter not having to manually change the angle of the blade.

One is a cheap Chine cam sold on Amazon with no support, and you may have to improvise on the brackets and mountings, the other is a higher end system marketed towards AG and equipment use. The Yuwei is just OK and fine for my use, so I'm really not sure if the CabCam is worth the premium over it-but I've not used it either.
Thank you

The local Kubota dealer manager sent me a text yesterday asking if I wanted a steel frame that has been on the lot for a few years. Is that a trick question? Heck yeah! I stopped by this morning and picked it up and it is one stout beast. Those 5"x4" rectangular tubes for forks have a 3/16" wall thickness. Not sure about the rest of the tubing but it looks to be fairly heavy stuff. It was used to display a rotary cutter at some point, so that potential customers could see underneath.

I finally have a use for this frame. I'm going to cut everything off above the base, invert it and then use it as the sub frame for my trailer extension. I just ordered a 10ft x 4ft sheet of 1/8" diamond plate, and a 24ft stick of 3-1/2"x1-1/2"x3/16" rectangular tubing.

The base has a provision for pallet forks so I'll use that to install/remove the extension as needed since the extension is going to be way too heavy to install by hand. I could even use the pallet fork feature to store pallet forks on the trailer, but it's not something I'd commonly have a need for.

I don't know about the 70s, but I bought 42s on an Ebay store for $74 shipped. They packed em in the "it fits, it ships" box for USPS.
I gave the mailman a large bottle of Gatorade and a gift card for $20 (or whatever the max amount is legal) 😂
Everyone needs weights , and price continue to climb with the demand. When I was searching for wheels weights on CL, I came across some Kubota suitcase weights two 55 pounders also for 50.00 for pair :D. I also purchased four JD green 42 pounders from HD with free shipping, they come in individual boxes. I added two more used 42 pounders being used as yard art, I didn't want to show my excitement, I did tell them they were going back to their general purpose. On the rear I carry all eight. Up front I use an easy hitch mount bracket and the six 42's. Can't fit the two 55'er on because of width and getting close to factory front axle limit posting.

Installed BXtreme underbody armor and had the same issue of not being able to lock the armor fully up until marking the bolt's outward facing flat side and adjusting the bolt in 5/6 turn.

Like you, when greasing up I found a mower zerk is missing, this one is a wheel zerk. What size are they (I don't have a thread pitch gauge here in the woods)? I hate to hit up the dealer as I'm sure I'll lose a few more eventually so would like to order multiple quality zerks--which raises the question: are all Kubota zerks the same?

(One is MIA, what general replacement do i need?)
I just had to replace a zerk in a loader pin. Looking at it, it looked like 1/4” but 1/4” wouldn’t thread in past 1/2 turn. Turned out to be 6mm. If you have some 1/4” zerks but no 6mm they’re close enough you could probably run a 1/4” tap through it and use 1/4”.

Went out to the garage and petted my 1880. Told it was doing a good job. Talked a little dirty to it and the dam loader lifted up a little. :ROFLMAO:

Carrier bearing on the fan shaft pooped the bed. New fan, new bearing, new fan belt and new flex joint needed. I can see bloodshed in my future. Radiator seems ok, I hope

86 and no wind with 70% humidity. Got one step closer to finishing my grill gazebo off. Bought some boot on forks from VEVOR to help raise the roof. Worked great. IMG_2980.jpeg
I had them spread wide to help balance the roof panel. It was around 180lbs. Made easy work. For future use I will remove the tooth bar before attaching the forks. IMG_2981.jpeg
Tomorrow I will bolt the legs to the metal plates and finish it off.

I learned I should really think before. . .
I have a very large oak near the 10 arborvitaes I planted last year. In the afternoon one of the large branches was shading the trees. Sooo. . .
When I constructed my ballast box I put in a long 3/4" forged eye bolt into the reinforcing for the concrete:

Plenty strong enough to pull down an 8" oak branch?

bent forged eye-bolt.jpg

Well yeah it did :(

Note to self, next time dummy use the draw bar.

Did some productive (rather than destructive) things also.

Moved one of the I beams onto saw horses to clean and 'paint' with Ospho. After wire brushing part of it I realized the rust wasn't bad at all. So just hosed it off and wiped it down first.

This last shot was taken about 6 hours after Ospho application. Its almost a full 24 hours now. It's pretty dry.

Now time to see how the 18" auger works.

New kubota added to the fleet. Traded in my 15 year old bad boy. The kohler engine was getting real tired zo I decided to upgrade. Did a little mowing before the rain hits and wow what a difference in power and speed. I found out real quick that I need to take it real slow between the raised beds. The 60 inch deck fits only if I keep the chute up.

Shocker! Watering trees. We're supposed to get some rain from whatever is left of Beryl Wed/Thursday but I'm not holding my breath.

I think the only other person who would like rain more than me is @Siesta Sundance and since he has livestock I'd sooner see him get it.
Less than 2.5 hours drive where Beryl hit and not a single drop here.

Hope you get something out of it. We seem to be in a bubble. It will rain less than a mile away and we'll get squat.
It squeezed out a few drops! Not sure if there is a measurable amount, but something is better than nothin!
