I think your mods are top notch.
It's a fine combination of imagination, skill, talent, and tools all coming together to make some great mods.
Am I sad to see the pictures gone... Well yes ... Coping is the greatest for of flattery.
I just have a lowly old B7100 and the Mods that you do would make the rest of the tractor look like ... Well you know, But I still look and take notes.

I allways find it a shame when this happens for whatever the circumstances are, and it's a real loss to all on OTT and other sites.

from my personal experience of a similar situation, its a case of you cant "please everyone all of the time", only "some of the people some of the time" .
I for one really enjoyed reading through your threads and gaining a lot of helpfull info and techy insight to a lot of things, sometimes someone elses ideas and pics etc can just give you that little bit more confidence to do a similar project.

I'm a real petrol head and have a real passion for Motor bikesof all types and ages, but especially Ducati racing bikes.
I used to post heaps of stuff some time ago on all my bike projects from rebuilds to proper racing stuff and after a while a similar thing happened to me, a lot of guys really enjoyed the posts and info etc, but a small group allways found a reason to , well you know....so i stopped.
its allways seamed like there were two groups of reader, those who were really keen of all aspect including doing the mods and enjoyed the projects and those who didnt really want to do anything to thier bikes and moaned when they went wrong or were just another plain run of the mill bike, there choice but why spoil it for everyone else.

Anyway, just my two pennies worth, and hope you start posting pics and info again paul, goodluck with whatever you progress into.

Well I see tractors as I see motorcycles. I haven't seen one yet that I didn't like. The B7100 is a great machine. If I could find an lot Bota I'd restore it. What I'd do with it after that I don't know lol.

Eric quoted me but he quoted me out of context. That was quoted at the end of my reasons. The fact is, in order for me to manage my photos I had to place them in albums. When I did that it changed the address of each photo and that meant thet could not be found where I placed them on the thread. I has to organize the photos for my personal records. This thread and the one on TBN was affected. Truth is these threads were taking way to much of my time and there were two threads to respond to. The Tractor By Net thread was getting 1000 hits a day so when the photos disappeared I said no problem no one was posting anyway and that's what some guys played on such as Eric.

Did I learn from this? You bet. I'll never post anymore of my work on these fourms. I'm going to be sitting by doing my own thing and commenting once in awhile on others work. Its Safer that way. I'll leave all the custom stuff and writups to Eric and the other nasayers now

Buy the way. I still have all MY photos and they will be shown soon

Thanks Rob. You made good sense in your comments. I used to enjoy shearing my work but I just got sick of the lurkers. I was putting out a new mod every few days and last going off no one was even talking. It was like sitting in a room with a crowd of people not talking. When the photos disappeared there was plenty of talk then.

I really think people think I get paid for this stuff but the actual fact it cost me with my time posting. It was time for a change and the last three weeks I made the change. I know some really great talented people that would never post their work on a forum. They said its just not worth it and I'm now a believer of that myself. No point getting older if your not getting smarter lol.

For me, all the mods I've seen you do with your equipment in the short time I have been on this forum has caused my PC to short out, drulling all over the keyboard!! Like I've said many times before, Kubota should put you on their payroll for all of the mods you've dreamed up. I truly appreciate the time and effort that you've put into your mods, and thank you for sharing what you've come up with. Being a retired engineer, I KNOW what it takes to have a vision and bring it to life, so my hat's off to you.

If I ever make it up to your neck of the woods, I'll be stopping by just to admire in person what I've seen you design and build, promise to wear a body bid so I don't slobber all over your equipment.

Like my grandpa always told us grandkids: Those that can DO, and those that can't, bitch.

I agree, Kubota should take your ideas and have you designs offered for sale. Also should pay you a percentage of every mod sold since mass produced. Plus pay for the ideas. Your ideas have made me think how much I wish I had the home and knowledge to build the ideas you have done for personal use, but all of them should be offered to be sold.

before you posted them I thought there was not much in the way of mods for a BX or B series. Now I have been looking at myB2320 thinking how can i mod this to make it work better. Thank you for the time you have taken to post the pictures and videos of your work.

I can not help it if others did not take the time to read the entire post to fully understand whats going on. But the way you were coming off Paul is that you were upset that nobody was posting or commenting anymore on your tread over on TBN.

You clearly must not have read the first post put up where I was defending you saying that I know how your schedule goes and when you're busy in the shop we never see you around here. But after I went back and reread the post you made on TBN several times back to back in a row you gave all impressions that you were leaving and it sounded like your feelings got hurt. I never once made any comments about your photos not being posted. Those are your pictures and what you do with them is your business not ours.

My sincere apologies if I have been misunderstood in all of this. I took the time to read your entire post on TBN and just summed up why you disappeared.

Funny thing is with the internet its just a box with a bright screen and some words written on it. It's hard to fully understand sometimes a persons tone, mood or pissedoffness when its described in words.

Over the years there has been hundreds of people from all walks of life come through our doors wanting to see what my wife and I do in relation to the design, fabrication, welding and restorations. Some were teachers, plumbers....

Just this past Thursday a car pulled up to our door and the guy gets out, walks in the shop and introduced himself. He runs a business building green houses and making old fashion water barrels. He's a local guy from a few towns away that I've ever seen before and the reason he dropped in was he seen our videos on YouTube and wanted to come by and see it in person.

When I see someone make an effort like that I stop and spend some time with them. He really wanted to see the BX so I took him down to the new home of the BX and he really enjoyed seeing all the mods in person. As a matter of fact he has his 2010 BX25 booked in to get the new BX25D thump installed just as it is on the new BX25D so I got a little mod ahead of me .

The point I'm trying to make is when people tell me they love what I've done and it helped them out in some way, that's great and it really is what its all about but when a professional such as yourself Dick or a welder.... then that really is the icing on the cake and you made my day with your post so a Hugh thank you sir. I really appreciate that very much and I love what your Grandpa used to say.

Oh how I wish you were a CEO with Kubota

This has been a very unique week for us. Monday past we purchased a new dump trailer. As we were looking at it the wife said " well at least you won't have to do anything with this purchase". Being married to her for over 30 years I just looked at her and see said " You can't be serious"?

Well I spent three 10 hour days working on the "new" trailer putting it the way I wanted it. I then did a video and put it up on YouTube. The next day the company that builds these trailer in Quebec, Canada calls us thanking us for tutting up the video and stating they just love what we did with the unit. They enjoyed how we represented their product and that after being in business for 5 years and building 400 trailers per year it was the first time they had that happen.

It looks like we are going to have some support from them now. They showed their 50 plus employes the video ad will now use it for future customers and that's just great.

As for Kubota. The bigger the company the harder to reach but Kubota Canada and us know each other very well. We have met a lot of their top brass in person. Good company with quality people and this design and mid stuff is new territory so if it happens it will take time.

Well your kindly welcome. Its funny you mentioned and not being much to do with the BX and B series. Had a friend say to me last winter after hearing we bought a new BX that their wont be much to to with the BX because there's nothing to mod on them. My older brother replied " you watch, Paul will work on that for two months before its ready to use". Well he pretty well nailed it. There's probably ten mods on this BX that's ever been done before and it did take two months to do lol. Everything I look at needs modding and I'm not done with modding the BX yet

You posted that out of context when you posted the tail end of my statement. If you were going to go that far you should have posted my entire statement.

You then went on to summarize of how it looked and how I acted. You say things to stir up crap then when $hit hits the fan you back away from it and say you didn't mean it that way. Ive dealt with your type before. Your no different than a school yard bully.

When I announced my wife bought me the BX for my birthday the first thing out of your mouth was "It makes the sick that the man has a big honkin tractor he hardly uses in the first place and yet he goes and gets another one! I gotta get my act in gear cause I'm dying for the right size Kubota I can use everyday!"

Sounds like sour grapes to me. You need a new tractor? Do what we do. Get out of your bed before daylight, go to work and get back home after dark and do that consistently for years in a row with no vacation time and you'll get your new tractor.

I tried two or three times to stop that TBN thread because it was totally consuming my time. I would be up at 4 in the morning responding to comments and this is our busiest time of the year. Traditionally I never post at this time of the year but the BX came into the picture and I had mods to do that I thought I would share them but I posted to many mods in a short time and the thread became to long in the tooth.

So true but I hope your hearing MY tone. There's real people on the other side of that computer monitor of yours who work hard for what they have and what they are trying to do. In the future you should try and be a little more sensitive to others and not play analyst on why someone did something because your not good at it and you got it all wrong.

Thanks. I cold galvanized them for now but I'll get them hot dipped with a few other items over the winter. I got three mods mods to do on the trailer then I'll post a video of it in operation. Thanks for both your comments.

Your ramps look nice. My question is do they just sit on the deck or do they hook on while you are loading?

The reason I ask (not to tell you your business) I have seen the front wheels jerk the ramps off the trailer before while loading in 4wd. Not to second guess your work but I don't want to hear that you got hurt either.

No man. Thanks for your concern and I appreciate your advise but I did have them lock in when in use so they will be ok. I got a few more mods to do in the trailer then I'll do a working video of the unit. The three stage hydraulic cylinder set up has been used for years on dump trucks and it will lift 14.000 lbs with ease.
The manufacture called me the other day about the video and loved it. I got some goodies coming from them to install then the working video goes up.
