Well sir it was great advise and I wanted to post showing that I indeed listening installed ASAP. One is never to old to listen, act and learn.I'm just proud to be able to contribute something valuable.
That little fitting doesn't seem like much but around here it's huge. I've got 4 electric fuel pump and 5 hand pumps in oil drums. 20' hoses are $40 and without the elbow I would replace 1 or 2 a year. With the elbow I haven't bought a hose in at least 5 years. Bottom line, the few dollars spent on 90's has saved me several hundred dollars in hoses. Money well spent.
Thanks my friend and I'm glad to hear you like our new site. It is being built by a close friend who I highly admire and he put some major time into it. No I won't be leaving the site. I'd like to sit back and read and learn from now on. I won't be posting anymore of my designs or work on the forums anymore but will post them on our own site from this day forward and if there's something that folks want to see its only to leave me a message so contact me through these forums.Love the website but hope that dosen't mean your leaving us at this address.

Well if it sounded like an invitation that's because it was one. If you ever find your way over here I'm real easy to find. Just let me know when your on the way"You'll have to come and visit us in person some time."
Careful, that almost sounded like a invitation.lol
Actually we have had that/your area on the 2 wheel bucket list for quite some time but just haven't took the calendar and made the commitment. Time is now the issue ,my wife worked for the same company for 20 years and had built up to 5 weeks of vacation per year then the company was sold. The new owners didn't allow the people who stayed to carry over the benefits so she started over at 1 week of va per year.
Well I'm the boss when the wife is gone lol. Thanks for the compliment on the web site. I think it's a sign of good things to come. Yes running your own business is rewarding but It's tough at times but there's more positives than there are negatives. You should be very proud of your web site Paul and the accomplishment of starting and running a successful business. Something most everyone would want to do, working for themselves and surviving in todays economy. Being your own boss is priceless.
Think you very much. Yes he's a good designer and the best friend a guy could have. We've been friends for a very long time and he's never said No to me. I'm the same way with him as well. Most excellent website Paul. He's a great designer.
Thanks. Appreciate you posting on itCompliments on the website, looks good.
Paul,
I'm very happy to see you back and have bookmarked your website. I'll be visiting it often.
I'm also glad that I checked this thread today... I hadn't checked it since my last (and only comment).
I value talent like yours. I'm an amateur machinist with limited equipment. I have a Myford Super Seven lathe and an ancient Atlas seven inch shaper. Most of my projects are quite small, but I put a whole lot of value on workmanship and good engineering and each of your projects exemplify precisely that. The icing on the cake on your projects is that they end up looking like an original Kubota accessory.
Thanks to you, my current project are the rear view mirrors for my little BX1870... I need these and I can do this. Thanks again.
Ben
You were actually screeched in? You kissed the cod and all? Heck I haven't even done that!Paul you know the neighborhood will run you out of town on a rail when a bunch of bikers shows up at your door,,,lol
Hey theres an idea we could all show up for a schreening or what ever it is called when you kiss a fish,, oh wait I did that one time., ,, Ahummm never mind
Oh man I hope you didn't drink to much screech before you kissed the cod. Might not been a cod at all you kissed I can't even think about this, it will soon be breakfastI should say it smelled like a cod,, Im just digging this hole deeper aint I?
The trailer is a 6'X10' 5 ton trailer. The BX isn't going in it with the BH and FEL on it. I got another trailer for transporting. This one is used for moving gravel, sand, stone and sometimes the ZTR or other customer machines. That being said I installed 5 D rings inside the box so there's lots to tie on to.Paul what is the inside size of your trailer? Is it about 60 inches wide or so? And how are/have you keeping the 25 held in place so she doesn't move around in side?
Hope this isn't boring you all. You funny guy
And Im not sure how much JD was involved, but I don't drink like that any more,,,
You got a good plan Phil If you ever need to know how to hook up the wireless let me know. It's a ten minute job when you know what to do.Paul, the wireless remote is very cool. I told you the other day by the time you get done with yours I'll know what I need to put on mine. Keep up the good work ol buddy.
I do a lot of welding in the shop. Tig I love. Mig pulse I love as well. Here's an example of that. Had lots of tig welds on file but they went with the rest of the photo's so I'll have to try and upload more of them. Ya I usually cross the chains as well but most don't around these parts. I always do when pulling the bike trailer behind the bike.Paul,
A dump trail is certainly worth the money at times, especially when unloading fire wood.
I looked at the video you posted, and noticed the trailer saftey chains. I was always shown to cross them under the hitch, that way if it ever comes loose it cradles the coupler instead of letting it hit the ground. Just though I'd pass that along.
Quality welds in aluminum takes skill no doubt. Tried it myself with heliarc (TIG), not for me.
ThanksLooking good
