DAYUM straight I like them and so will every one that has a BX I turned the lights inboard, but it really limits the sight radius of the lights.
Well if you ever decide to do a couple sets let me know, and thanks. Its going to be interesting to see what you do with the BX cause now your in my size tractor,,lol

I have a friend who would like a stump removed and the ripper looks like it might do the job. Let me know if you decide to manufacture it for sale and I could even pick it up so you wouldn't have to ship it.

Looks like they should have come that way from the factory. Much more protection now without fully covering the light, looks great just as all your other mods.

Thanks my friend. It's kind of funny because I almost didn't post on the BX. At first I was just going to do all the mods and just do one YouTube video on the machine but changed my mind at the last minute and decided to document each mod.
That being said when this tractor is completed I'll be retiring from modding tractors unless I buy another one and I highly doubt that will happen in the near future.
I guess the only way I'll do another modded machine is if a manufacture gives me one to do and that's not likely to happen either.
Stay tuned for the next mod because It will start tomorrow and its NEVER been done on a BX before. Its not a mod that everyone will want but then again one never knows. A few locals were in the shop today asking about it but I only told one of my friends what its going to be. He said " that's going to be very cool"

2222 I feel your pain my friend I have had bamboo clean one off and some blackberry canes took another,, I went to replace them and drilled two new holes on the inside of the mounting bracket so the lights are right behind the seat,, really limits the effectiveness located like that,, so these guards would be da catazz,, that man never ceases to amaze me,,lol,, I guess maybe because I cant do what he does, but its done with such great care and so much love,, yes love,,, Because a man cannot do a job like Paul does unless he loves doing what he does

Well I tried to get this other mod done last evening but about two hours from its completion I decided to add to it and went home at 11pm. Went back out to the shop at 8am and started in again. All the fabrication is completed and I'm just waiting for the paint to dry.
This one took a little thinking and tinkering to make it work. The tolerances on these BX's are tight and there's not a lot of wiggle room to do some custom things BUT I did it and will post the new mod in a couple of hours

OK. After 16 hours I got this mod completed. Well almost. The only thing to do is run the harness but I’m going to do the wiring when everything is installed.

I’m calling this mod “Ditch Lights”. Now this is not going to be everyone's taste and I understand that but I wanted to do something a little different with the BX yet not to different than the Grand L. The guys that know me on here know I got a thing for LED lighting. Hey some guys like guns, women,fast cars.... my thing is LED lights

I started out with some 5” X 1/8th flat bar and went from there. All I knew is I wanted to use that empty space just by the front wheels. I got a set of Rigid flush mounts that burn 5 amps for two lights which isn’t to bad at all. The quality of Rigid is fantastic. It came with it’s own switch, harness and stainless hardware. Well the BX is a toughie to adapt things to the front wheel area. The wheels turn sharp and I had to take into consideration the front wheel pivot and the amount of travel it has. then I had to get the angles right to shine towards the front yet off to the side and although I got it right it didn’t leave me with much extra space in the light housing but an 8th is as good as a mile in this case. I also built in access to the lights by putting a removable bottom in the housing which was great for installing it all.
After the housings were done I found some left over 1X2” channel so I decided to use that as a bumper. I think the rest of the photo’s will tell the story. I did fire up the lights in the shop and man it’s crazy bright. Way ahead of what’s on the machine. They shine to each corner of the bucket and off to the sides and that’s just the way I wanted them.

Having lights to the sides is something that help. And I think what comes up next. There is a need to have bright light at the back...

Even I am a field service engineer and most of the time somewhere but not at home, I would like to have that punch machine. I liked it, when you post some pics after delivery. And after all I have seen how easy jobs can be done... Man I need one!!

It's a good punch tool der carl but the punches are very expensive. The full machine cost me a little over $16000. I love the thing though.

While I was taking a break and cleaning up the shop I managed to put a steering wheel spinner on the tractor, My lovely wife made me some cool decals and I made up a bracket for two 16W 8 Degree LED lights to put on the Back hoe boom. Next week more mods then I’ll do the wiring. Here’s how it looks.
Tomorrow is a day of rest. Thank God cause I need it

Thinking we need to somehow get you involved with the mother company, at the very least as a design consultant, as most of your mods are worthwhile and should have come from the factory.
