Not correct. DEF is only used on tractors above 70 hp.
I was trying to find out from my Kubota dealer as to how MF gets to sell greater hp than 26 without DPF. No satisfactory answer.

Possible your confusing DEF (diesel exhaust fluid) with DPF (diesel particulate filter) ?

The 1800 series above 25hp have emission controls including DPF. I believe that DEF is not required or used until that 70 to 75 Hp size is reached.

OK MF 1825 - we all want to know and I am rude enough to ask. How is it optioned and how much did it set you back? In other words how much is Mother Kubota getting as a premium for orange. :D

My dad and brother both have a kubota L2501.

They are pretty much identical to my Massey.

I was quoted $7,000 more for the Kubota L2501 with quick attach bucket, 5ft rotary cutter and box blade. The quick attach bucket option was a $4,000 add on.

It's standard on the Massey.

Controls and options are exactly the same between the Massey 1825 and Kubota L2501. Both are basic bare bones tractors. With a hydrostatic transmission.

Am wondering if that trailer is heavy enough to carry that massive MF? ;)
Nice looking machine!
I have a 16ft dove tail trailer. That's the dealers truck and trailer. I signed the paperwork and their driver followed me home with the tractor and implements 😁😁😁😁😁

Wow, thats crazy! Did you confirm that with other dealers?
Without digging out my sales contract on my L2501 I remembered a quick attach loader option was about $500?

I went to the Build my Kubota and this is what I THINK I understand.

A loader with SSQA is $5753 and requires a bucket , either $784 or $844

A loader without the SSQA comes with a 60 inch bucket for $5808

Difference about $730 . Perhaps I am missing something? Still too high IMHO since I would guess 95% to 99% of new tractors from Kubota are sold with SSQA's.

Really a nice looking Massy and glad you and your wife are getting QTT (quality tractor time) in! (y):)

And the local mom and pop dealer was ate up by a large conglomerate. Prices went up and customer service went to hell. I don't get along with the service manager at the local kubota dealership. But figured I would give them a chance.

When they quoted me just shy of $33,000 for an L2501 with box blade, quick attach bucket, and rotary cutter, I About fell out of the chair.

Without digging out my sales contract on my L2501 I remembered a quick attach loader option was about $500? I just pulled up the Build my Kubota and it is showing $552 for the 2 lever quick coupler under front loader options.
He quoted me $4,000 more for the loader with quick attach bucket.

All the dealers locally are the same company. I would have had to travel 1.5 hrs to deal with another dealer.

I don't get along with the local service manager at the kubota dealer.

So it made sense for me after the high quote for the tractor to start looking at other brands.

I picked up an 850 if you need someone to fling poo at.
On no, the older models it's quite the contrary, that was one of my favorite models.
I also really loved the D's and AR's
