You know that same argument has been used against seat belts and countless other things that have saved lives.
"I don't wear seat belts because it's safer to be thrown from the car. My uncle Ronnie was killed by a seat belt when he was driving drunk and high out of his mind, he did a Dukes of Hazard jump right into a tree, and that seatbelt trapped him in his car, he was burned alive! They just aren't SAFE"
No one is saying vaccines are perfect. People get sick from them and die. But the net gain in lives saved is VASTLY over those that are negatively impacted. If you can't see that, well there is nothing that can be done for you.
seat belts had a long history of use, long before they were put into road cars. So they had plenty of research. People still don't use them, and I don't occasionally. It's our choice, although we're breaking the law. So that's that.
for covid. There is a lot of research being done about the vaccines. Currently I'm understanding that the Mrna vaccines do in fact show signs of long term side effects. FTR, I did not get a vaccine. I got really, really sick, twice --both times covid negative. Nobody knew what it was, but it was gone in a week or so. Now my neighbor has it, I'm taking care of their place til they get out of the hospital. Covid negative. Him and her both have it. The girls are fine for now, staying at their grandma's place until it blows over.
it begs the question, how many false negatives were there?
How many sick and deceased were attributed to covid? And what was the reasoning, if they did not in fact actually have it?
Daren Todd's right. Stats locally, 91% of unvaccinated covid cases were less severe than flu. This from a doctor at one of the hospitals. Generally speaking those who had other health concerns had a rough time with the covid. Kinda like I did. Nonetheless I have a heart for those who lost loved ones due to the illness. I'm not turning my back on the fact that it happened; rather pointing out that the vast majority of folks will get it and be done with it in a few days' time.
remember our leaders were reliant on fake fauci for information. Thus, we all got Fauci'd as a result.
There is still not a whole lot of information as to how to deal with covid, either. Vaccine (which is still new) and then they also are trying to find treatments for those who are currently sick. Right now there isn't a whole lot of treatment for it unless the patient is extremely sick with it, and at that point they "do their best". (quote from one of the local doctors when I was in the hospital).
