I’M BACK - - Today is grilled pork tenderloin with soy marinade, basmati rice, garlic steamed carrots and sweet corn.

A little heavy on a 85 degree day, but I think we’ll suffer through it….

Thanks for the explanation. Don’t have a smoker, but makes sense.

If you ever decide to get one, buy a RecTeq, has stainless interiors, great customer service, the whole 9yds.

My brother has RecTeq smoker with sidebox, and that will be my next pellet smoker. Not ideal for me to fire up the wood smoker when we're currently under an exceptional drought conditions and burn ban, everything is like a match tip around here.

I had a plate of grilled filet mignon. Before I could get a picture the granddaughter's boyfriend had the plate pretty well consumed. I forgot how much and how fast a seventeen year old boy (man) can eat.

Buttermilk pancakes and breakfast sausage for brunch.

PB&J sandwiches for an afternoon snack.

Then ribeye steaks, corn on the cob, and baked taters for dinner

We call it mixed grill. Hots and hams, hot Italian sausage, zucchini, red onions.

Also have some baby taters with garlic and fresh parsley.

Happy Labor Day! Beef ribs are almost done! At 101° outside, I figure it's more energy efficient to cook outside. Ribs, corn and baked beans all in the smoker
