Hey, it's time for an update. What you been spending your money on?
Git another trackhoe fix8ng to get dropped off at the property in a couple weeks. I got the final push to get the logs removed from the building site.

Also have an articulated stump grinder reserved for rental that dame week to knock stuff down below the mower deck.

Had a 12k trackhoe with thumb dropped off Friday. Threw a track Saturday 😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬 Track was worn out.

Rental company came out and swapped out the track this morning 👍👍👍

Been busy the rest of the day.

Put 7 hrs on the trackhoe. And got quite a bit accomplished.

Here's what it looked like Saturday before I started.

Looks good! You have enough wood in that pile to heat your new shop for a winter.
Probably several winters. I tried giving all that wood away. Nobody would come get it 🙄🙄🙄🙄 They want it cut and split all ready.

Well, sometime this week, it's gonna see some diesel and a match.

I think I got it pretty well licked out there.

Just gotta swing by the property in the morning and restack one of the burn piles with the trackhoe.

Finish filling it up with fuel. And then call it off from rent. 👍👍👍👍👍

I had to invest in another chain saw Tuesday 🤬🤬🤬🤬 Sprocket wore out. Gonna get it fixed, but the repair shop won't except it for drop off till next month some time.

Finished cutting down the stumps today. Getting the stump grinder next Friday.

Then the contractors are coming in to install the driveway, water line and septic. Plus build a pad.

Daren - looking great!

Saw sprockets are a wear item. Some saws are easier to change than others. Been too long since I changed one to give guidance.

With the lot you have now, it’s good to have a couple saws anyways….👍

For the project you have in front of you, an additional chainsaw is just an incidental expense, and will serve you well in the future.

Looking forward to your project! 😉

Gee, If you were around a couple hundred years ago the Battle of the Wilderness would have been renamed.

When the repair guy said that they needed to put a piece of rope down the spark plug hole, and hope you don't break a piston.....

I decided I would much rather let someone else replace it and have someone to yell at 🤣😂🤣😂😂

I still got 4+ acres of wilderness and good luck navigating it without a brush hog. Between the briars, grape vines, and poison ivy 🙄🙄🙄🙄

I did encounter some grape vines that were producing. It ended up on the burn pile after it caused me to throw a track 😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬

I haven't measured out how much I cleared and opened up for yard and home. Quick figuring, probably about 1.5 acres. Roughly 200ish× 300.

Some are pretty simple.

Yeah, I vaguely recall the rope in the cylinder thing….I’d be apt to let someone else do it too!👍

I see you lit the piles.

Just got my propane info today. Summer fill is $1.49 and contract is $1.75 if paid in full. I understand, father time is telling you to quit paying rent as soon as possible. :(

Yup. Got 4 other brush piles I haven't lit yet. Got one I'll torch Saturday, the rest can wait.

Can't wait to get out there. First thing is to get a fence up so gypsy has a spot to run loose.

Swilung by this morning. Restacked the brush pile with the trackhoe and then off rented it.

I got another pile I'll burn off tomorrow while I'm out there knocking down the weeds.

I think you should have just built around the trees! 🤔 🤪:ROFLMAO:

Fall Leaf clean up looks like it's going to require some serious equipment!

Ground stumps last weekend. To give you an idea of the stump size, the machine was 6' to 8' long. The stump pictured was around 48"x40.

C9ntractor started yesterday on the driveway. Should have the pad finished today. Then water line and septic will be installed early next week.
