Thanks...I have all the info as shown on messicks (great company) the issue is the details on the type ofpuller or bolt thread details to get the fan shear sleeve off the keyed shaft...I believe it’s similar to taking off a snowmobile clutch but I am in need of the technical specs before I just mash in a wrong thread puller.
The bolt that holds the shear plate on is a 3/8ncx2, but then it appears that another thread size is deeper in the shaft, maybe? Unless I’m thinking all wrong and once the retailer bolt is out I’ll have to somehow get that shear plate off the shaft (I’m guessing it’s never been removed since install at factory).
One way would to remove the bolt and washer, then reinstall the bolt. Then push on the head of the bolt, with a puller. Once you get it moving, you may not need the bolt and puller.
My gut says I need a longer bolt that when I screw it in, it bottoms out on the shaft thus pushing the shear plate off the shaft... putting a puller on the bolt screwed in on the same shear plate doesn’t seem like that would do anything because it’s not pushing against the shaft.

Thanks for finding that...I’ll find a moment between snowstorms to tackle this.The fingers of the puller would grip the fan. The center bolt of puller will push against the shaft (or bolt replaced in shaft).
Edit: Found this thread. Sounds like it just pulled off without a puller.
Snowblower fan removal
Before I try, does anyone know for sure how you remove the fan from an L2052-1 Kubota snowblower. Appears the fan is keyed on the shaft, but I'm not sure what type of puller you would have to use. Thanks. Decided to go ahead and try. I guess to be correct I should have said Impeller rather...
