Did someone mention "WinterFront Covers"?
I still make them for a few of the smaller Kubota models. (now found out the 3560LE covers will also fit the Grand L 6060 and other Grand L '60 series as well.)
@Ottertail here is a link to the covers I make for your
LX3310
and a link to the
For Sale models
I was moving snow this morning with the actual temp of -16°F and was toasty warm in my homemade cab and engine temp in the 3-4 segment range. I wasn't working the tractor too hard either.
I hope you get your tactor issues resolved. If interested in a set of my covers....just send me a message. I try to keep a set or two of the popular models on hand ready to ship.
I'm just outside of Grand Forks, ND. On my B2650 the covers benefits are:
Very quick warmups,
Keeps the whole engine compartment warm (including the fuel tank)
Helps keep the hydraulic fluid warm (that cooler sits out front of the radiator)
Cab heater output is raised considerably in our cold winter temps
Keeps snow out of the front air intake
I've never had to worry about fuel gelling even when operating in -25 to-35°F temps.
Keeps the engine oil warm enough to boil off any accumulated condensation
If by chance you know of someone in the GF area or find your way up here, you could pick up a set yourself or I could get one to someone traveling down your way.
Anyone interested in covers for their tractor.....shoot me a message.
David
PS thanks for the heads up, SGR & Fordtech !!
