Hmmm, I'll have to look and see when I last replaced the battery. Thanks for the advice on a replacement type.
I use a deep cycle marine AGM battery in my dump trailer.

Lots of tractor work this past weekend and this week clearing up the "barn" that collapsed and making a burn pile. Then there's the firewood debacle. I'll be cutting, loading, splitting and stacking all week no doubt! The small dump trailer is brilliant behind the M, and in case anyone's wondering, I have a chain connected between the draw bar and the King Cutter receiver so that the 3-point can't be lifted by the trailer. I've said it before but the M is a phenomenal tractor and just a joy to own and use. I should have bought an M six years ago but I didn't have a clue about my needs back then.

In an unprecedented move for me I have the MX ready for winter with the front snow blade and rear blower hooked up, adjusted and serviced. Typically I'll be messing with this stuff in the middle of a snow storm and with freezing hands! The guards on each side of the blower were installed incorrectly (see photo) so I fixed that issue. I was going to run the snow blade on the M this year but maybe not. Having two tractors really is the way to go for me. It's so convenient to have them set up for different tasks.

Is your dump hydraulic off of the tractor remotes or battery electric over hydraulic? The reason I'm asking; I have a dump too but it's battery electric over hydraulic and I have to stop and recharge after 2 maybe 3 dumps.
I have two PJ dump trailers, a 16ft and 10ft, both electric over hydraulic and both have the standard lead acid batteries that they came with, and surprisingly I haven't had a problem with either. The trailers have outlets on the outside of the tool/storage boxes with internal trickle chargers and charge indicators but I don't often bother to run an extension cord to them. I do remove the batteries in the winter and keep them on a trickle charger which probably helps.

Like @Trapper Bob I'm a fan of the deep cycle gel acid type batteries having two Optimas in the F250 and one in the Jeep TJ. I haven't needed to buy any for the trailers yet, but when it's time to upgrade I'll most likely get Optima batteries for both.

Back hoe off. Wood chipper on to clean out a brush pile. After this I will put the MMM on and the cyclone rake on and clean up the leaves. Heck after that I might even wash it before the next project.

Next order of business was to install one of @Kennyd4110 chain boxes with lid and a pair of Quickfist buckles to the QH15. About another 15 minute job. Easy to follow directions and top notch product.

This is just about the easiest time I've had getting firewood ready for the house. I bought the Oregon 22 ton wood splitter shown below from a friend of a friend earlier in the year. It was hardly used and cost $1,200 which is a bargain for something of this quality. It has the horizontal/vertical option and the only upgrade that might be useful is a four-way splitting head which is no longer available according to the original owner.

I changed the hydraulic oil filter over the weekend, and since the original owner had changed the engine oil right before I bought it I just checked the level and it was good. I started splitting yesterday afternoon/evening and found it easy to roll logs off the trailer and onto the splitter, and then stack split wood onto pallets. All is good!

Sunday I finished mowing the 10 acres of pasture with our L2501 and the RCR1260. Thats not a job I want to do too often. This is the first time is has been done in years I bet and mowing around the 10 or so trees took a lot of time. I had in ear plugs this time. I can see how a cab would be really nice to have. Pasture looks great and the native grass can get the sun again since the Marsh Elder thats in some places has been cut back. I can see why people pay $5k for a cab/AC/heat. I think the L2501 was the best compromise for what we need to do. It does everything I’ve asked it to do. I wish the seat was sprung.

Nice. Even in cab tractors, I still wear ear plugs! Yeah I put 7.6 hours on my tractor yesterday, the seat sucks bad, it's on my to do list to replace it, not sure what options I have for the Mx5200. I did installed an air ride in my CTL and I love it!

Pictures of said work? Use the Sling Blade voice of character Karl Childers and say 'I like pictures', Uh huh'.

Do you use the cage pallets to stack wood in? I picked these up for $50 each off craigslist, could easily remove the container then stack wood inside the cage portion.

Picked up my hog trap out of the brush/woods, it needs some attention, when ever I find that 'extra' time to work on it.

I don't, but I've seen them used in that way and it looks like a good system. Not sure how you get the logs out of the cage though unless you have really long arms!

Electric hydraulic. I leave it plugged in when it’s parked and so far haven’t had any issues.
