Switched out the R14t's back to turf tires till winter. No rain all summer now having to mow twice a week on softer lawn, R14t's are not kind to soft lawns. Rain starting to irritate me now, pretty much since I got the free fill it's been raining 2-3 times a week and making it a PITA moving it to where I want it....

It will do for now. I need to trim the side pieces down about 6-8" which will tuck it in to the wall better.
I wouldn’t make it too narrow. It will become top-heavy and easy to tip.

Did some parts searching.

I'm amazed that some parts for 34-year old tractors are still stocked by dealers.

Specifically, I've been looking for the plastic parts on G1800/G1900, just to see what my options are. Much to my amazement, an NOS headlight assembly is still stocked, and at less than $100!

I was also looking for the sheet metal front mount cover, but these are like $140. The one I have is OK, just needs some time with the power hammer, which my son can provide.

Also the steel chute cover for the RC54 and RC60 decks can still be bought NOS, but for like, $160. That's a lot of jack. But, on the other hand, there are two of them up on eBay now, one for $75 and one for $100, both pretty shelly. The one for $100 has been welded up.

Y'know, I'll never use the headlights on my G1800. But, looking at that busted unit every day gets to me. Mixed emotions.

Used the forks and a pallet to put outdoor furniture and the BBQ into the shed. Hurricane/tropical storm heading our way.

Buy the parts you need/want now........
Why you can still find them!

Two years ago I bought what was reported to be the last instrument cluster wiring harness in the USA for my 1989 Ford 1920.
It was not cheap!

Never have been sorry about that, as the 1,100 hour tractor is now repainted, and looks/runs like new.
