Usual reasons would be diameter too small or an undesirable wood type for lumber.why are those logs considered pulp and not suitable for sawing?
The mill I sell my sawlogs to wants 12 foot and longer with a minimum of 8 and 10 footers.why are those logs considered pulp and not suitable for sawing?
It will do for now. I need to trim the side pieces down about 6-8" which will tuck it in to the wall better. If I wasn't selling mine I had drawn up a sketch much like yours to build.
I wouldn’t make it too narrow. It will become top-heavy and easy to tip.It will do for now. I need to trim the side pieces down about 6-8" which will tuck it in to the wall better.

Buy the parts you need/want now........Did some parts searching.
I'm amazed that some parts for 34-year old tractors are still stocked by dealers.
Specifically, I've been looking for the plastic parts on G1800/G1900, just to see what my options are. Much to my amazement, an NOS headlight assembly is still stocked, and at less than $100!
I was also looking for the sheet metal front mount cover, but these are like $140. The one I have is OK, just needs some time with the power hammer, which my son can provide.
Also the steel chute cover for the RC54 and RC60 decks can still be bought NOS, but for like, $160. That's a lot of jack. But, on the other hand, there are two of them up on eBay now, one for $75 and one for $100, both pretty shelly. The one for $100 has been welded up.
Y'know, I'll never use the headlights on my G1800. But, looking at that busted unit every day gets to me. Mixed emotions.
