Yes, I think it is say to assume that the bearing is seized.

I'd pull EVERY plug and drain EVERY 'oil'......
..hopefully a nice project to work on.

Where is the hub that the cv shaft connects to? Agree it looks ugly, but I have seen far worse still driving…

Heck you can see the shaft is sitting off center... time for a tear down.

Howdy y’all,

The rear left tire on my RTV 1140 isn’t free spinning the universal joint is snapped in half. Is it say to assume the bearings are frozen behind the wheel. Anyone else experience this? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There are two bearings in the axle housing, at least one of them has failed. You will need to remove the rear axle assembly from the unit and drive the shaft out toward the inside. There are two bearings with a spacer between them and two seals, one on each side.
