Only putting it in when fueling seems to defeat the purpose? On my BX23s the filler cap is in a "recess" that may hide debris. opening the cap seems to be the time when you want the filter in the most?Im sure others will report back!

That pretty well defeats the purposee of having a fuel inlet screen. Foreign matter into your tank happens at the most unforseen times, not when you are standing there with the fueling nozzle in your tank.I don't plan on leaving mine in for this exact concern, only going to put it in when I fuel up.
P
Will Not reduce fueling process.
My filter has been in for 9 months and there are no issues. Check it every couple of weeks just to make sure. No flaking or pitting of the SS.Im sure others will report back!
Actually, they are 20 microns from Kubota. You have to watch the aftermarket filters as most are 30 microns or more.Is 100 Microns plenty? Hell.....are our BX Fuel filters even 30 Microns?
I try to shoot for 10 microns. THey can be found online.Actually, they are 20 microns from Kubota. You have to watch the aftermarket filters as most are 30 microns or more.
Got a link to that?I see Neil from Messiks now has a tea strainer in his Kubota! He said John Ritter came up with the idea?????
When I think of Three's Company, Ritter is not the character that comes to mind!So was it Ritter that found this or actually someone on here that figured it out?? I couldn't figure out who Ritter was, now I know.. kept thinking of Three's Company for some reason..
