More wood chipping and wood hauling. Finally checked the air in the R14s for the 1st time, along with all the other vehicle and dolly and cart tires. Rears only had 15 psi. Put them at 20. Fronts had only 20 psi. Put them at 25.

I believe this Virnig grapple is sturdy enough. I know it’s not the crowd favorite but I have work to do and it got here in 5 days. 😬

Finished up the couplers and tested out……success!

Unfortunately I gotta wait for my property to dry out a bit before I can really put it to work.

It looks like the same model I bought from messicks last fall. Only too about a week to get. Same here, waiting for things to dry up and hand surgery to heal. It should be handy for my firewood I do each spring and save a lot of bending over!

Enjoy yours!

If ya don't mind me asking, how much was that V30? Good looking grapple for home use. Let me know how well it works. I've gotta get something to speed up the process of clearing my lot of all the privet and poison ivy.

$2425 for the 60” from Messicks. $2100 for the 55”. Both in stock.

I’m sure the 55” would be fine but I liked that the 60” has the tines gusseted. The weight penalty is worth it for me knowing my habit of letting stupidity and poor judgement get the best of me.

I’ll give a review once it dries out a bit here.

70 degrees today. Snow is melting. Wanted to fire up the little B and clear some more land. Walked out to see how the soil was and fell on my butt in the mud. Came back to the garage and just greased up the B for another day. (-:

Like most, I'm just waiting for drier ground. I don't want to complain about the moisture, there are many who would love to have the problem of muddy ground.

So, the tractor contains to nap in the barn.

I parked my new tractor in the barn on Sunday, it was still solid ice in front of the barn where the gates are. Went out yesterday, was going to bring it into the garage, the gates had 4" of water under them, and a good 15' in front and behind. I let the tractor sit. Today a lot has receded, but still a lot of soft soil around so will let it sit a few more days before moving to the garage to pop the top. I will wire up the radio instead and plug it in while in the barn.

Yesterday I rebuilt the tilt cylinders on the FEL on my B7100D. I bought the kits from Golden Eagle and watched a view videos on utube and then just did it. 4 hours and no more leaks. It was easy and the videos helped a lot.

Did the 500 hour service, washed it, and then saw the creek in the back yard was flowing again.....and some debris had collected at the fence.
Cutting the bottom of the fence out cured that problem.

Same here. There’s stuff I could get out and do but I’d be tearing up the ground so much doing it wisdom dictates waiting for drier times.

It’s a shame too…….it’s about 50 degrees which I find perfect for doing yard/tree clean up.
