There are lots of grapple manufacturers and sellers, Everthing Attachments, Varig, Loflin, MTL Attachments. The MX has a very capable loader and will handle a 60”-66” wide 500lb - 600lb grapple with ease. You will need the dealer to fit a third function kit to use a grapple, remember loaded rear tires.I appreciate all the advice. Planning to look at both the L4701HST and the MX5400HST.
To the comment about the “grapple.” YES, the thought had likewise crossed my mind as well. Although I didn’t see one offered by LandPride, only Atlas.
For either of these larger machines, are front facing lights only mountable on the ROPS, or a canopy on the ROPS?
Are there limits to lighting you can put on these tractors? Or is simply about having enough supplemental batteries for the extra lights? Not looking to overtax the tractor’s electrical system, but if the Kubota light kids are anything like those for riding lawn mowers, I fear they will be lacking the brightness I need to work.
Again, appreciate the advice, as well as the humor.
Wait your ROPS! HeheOH YEAH ??????................. I beg to differ, View attachment 70891 I'm 6'3 and 340 and I'm am quite comfortable on my BX 2680
New, yes. They only make MX5400 and MX6000Is the MX4800 discontinued?
Yes. The only MX models available now are the 5400 and 6000.Is the MX4800 discontinued?
Particularly in your situation it sucks you can’t go sit on them. I’d wonder if there’s someone near you who would let you see them in person or possibly if the dealer could arrange that when one is in for service. Was just thinking if my dealer called and said they had someone a bit bigger or smaller than “average” that really wanted to check out how they fit on a L4701 I’d be fine with that so long as it wasn’t often.Called the local dealer. Got descent quotes on both the L4701HST and the MX5400HST. Both ROPS only. Both with loaders.
Then he states that don’t have either in stock and states perhaps by spring.
Does this look to small?First thing that came to my mind is if your local dealer/shop can get creative and modify the seat/area to provide you more room......without voiding any warranty of course. You can't obviously be the only 6-6, 330 guy that owns a tractor.
Looks like it fitsDoes this look to small?
It does look small, but is the seat all of the way back? Check to see if the treadle pedal is in a good place for you. I like my leg pretty extended, but others, may have a different idea.Does this look to small?
Really depends on how it feels to you, not how it looks. But you did ask, and honestly yeah that looks pretty dang tight. For instance I’m assuming the height control for the 3 point is in between the right fender and seat but I can’t even see it, so maybe it isn’t there?Does this look to small?
No but, why does that tractor look so spartan? Where is is the bucket? Front hydro lines? There's no levers on the fender??Does this look to small?
FWIW, here is a pic of the pedals on a DT L series (nearly identical to the L2501).Would the pedal placement of DT afford more room then the HST?
