[SAR Tracker]

Roxie - Rescued from a shelter 5 years ago. Came from a drug dealers house in SoCal, where she impaled herself on a piece of rebar chasing a ball. They pulled her off the rebar, but no treatment. Got infected (of course) so they turned her into the pound. A Lab Rescue organization here in Central Oregon heard about her, paid to transport and heal her. Great dog.

Ollie’s picture was posted a while back. Just turned 10 a month ago. Pretty good for a 92 pound Boxer.

He’s had some health issues last couple days.

He spent most of the day at the vet’s and has to go back tomorrow morning.

He’s pretty tired tonight.

Hoping you’ll join his mom and I wishing for a good outcome.

He started with seizures yesterday.

Vet thinks epilepsy or brain tumor. On anti-seizure meds, but not working very well. He still has seizures, and is like a drunken sailor due to the meds.

The decline has been very rapid.....hope for the best.

He's a great boy...

A better picture of The Boys. Dad is 110 pounds of slobber and cuddles, thinks he's a lap dog. Son is a little less cuddly at least at this stage. He'll come up for a little petting and a scratch behind the ears and then wanders off to find something else to do.

Someone realized that the center portion of the new love seat makes a good pillow. And puts the head in the optimum location for ear scratches

Play time!

Ollie had a couple rough weeks a month-plus ago. Seizures, which vet thinks could be brain tumor.

I didn’t think he would make it to Labor Day.

His litter-mate died of same thing about 6 weeks ago.

After the medications settled in, he seems to be almost as good as new. We’re keeping our fingers crossed…..don’t know if he’s good for days, weeks or months……

He’s a real character!
