Play time!
Ollie had a couple rough weeks a month-plus ago. Seizures, which vet thinks could be brain tumor.
I didn’t think he would make it to Labor Day.
His litter-mate died of same thing about 6 weeks ago.
After the medications settled in, he seems to be almost as good as new. We’re keeping our fingers crossed…..don’t know if he’s good for days, weeks or months……
He’s a real character!

Wife takes our 1 year old GSD hiking all over the place. He is pretty hyper but a good dog. He has his own backpack with water/food for longer hikes. He loves the water.

That's a handsome pup! And at 1 year, he IS still a pup. He'll calm down a little as he matures, which you no doubt already know.
Crichton, the big male in my picture is 3 and just starting to come out of the frisky puppy stage. Daughter is in for a long haul with the little guy tho!

He’s maxed on his Zonisamide dosage, but a while back the vet got us some phenobarbital just in case. Can use both.
Started phenobarbital as soon as seizures broke through.
Doing okay so far…..Don’t know if his time is measured in hours, days or months.
He really is an awesome dog. Pray for him, please.
Every day is a blessing, just like it is for all of us…….
