Forgot this one. Took my dad fly fishing at the local lake for bream early last fall. We weren't catching much, so we decided to call it a day and head back in. There are so many trees in that lake (some submerged just barely) that you might get up against one and have to back up or turn around. That's exactly what happened. One was under the bow and I couldn't go forward, so I turned around to look behind me checking for trees or stumps and thats exactly what I saw (the sun going down over the lake). Snapped a quick picture with the phone. Well we got home, cleaned and ate what we had and called it a day. I got to my place and sat there almost half asleep and decided to look at the pics that were on the phone; since I use it for work a LOT and needed to clean off some more space. That was the one that popped up first. Sent it to my dad (via text) and he had it put on canvas, then submitted it to the photo contest at the county fair, and got a ribbon for it. Unedited by the way; I reckon someone smarter than me could touch it up but I don't know how. Dad asked me if I did anything with it and, well, I ain't smart enough...LOL.
That was the last time dad and I got to go fishing together. He's still around but he can't fish no more because of many health problems. Doubtful he can even get into the boat. And if this elbow of mine don't get feeling better, I won't be able to fish either.
