You would need to have a helicopter to land here, this is the only clearing we have in the trees, but the Hayden Airport is only 15 min away
Well there's a cow pasture down the road, but the critters might not like it! There's a few too many trees to land a planeAirport? We dont need no airport,, tail dragers don't need no stinking airport

So on the roof construction they jack it up and get it sitting on top of the blocking. Then do they install traditional 2x6(8) support under the trusses just like you would have if the trusses were lifted and placed one at a time?

The back and center posts are notched. The front truss drops 7 1/2 inches to allow the perlins to cantilever past for overhang. The center post is a 6x8 to allow for the double girder truss. I did not put a 24 inch overhang on rear.
The perlins are 2x8 to get a 60# load. (snow belt).
That's exactally how mine is made, must be standard code for the area. Your gonna love the extra room

Thank you for the information. Nice way to keep close to the ground for construction. Interesting methods of dealing with holding the trusses up

In some cases with no overhang they will run the condensation insulation, metal layout and actually screw some of the meal down before jacking.
In conventional framing the more stuff you can get on that wall before standing the better.

Almost there! a few more sheets of metal, final grading and slab pour on Thursday. Garage door on Monday. The pole builder has a nice eye for detail.
Kubota implements will be out of the weather this winter and still room for 10 cord of fire wood plus another vehicle under cover.

That's nice that they did a clean job on the trim. It does make a big difference when it looks good as well as being a nice build. Your gonna love the extra lean too storage too. You can never have enough storage!

Our project is a lift of lumber to strap two 100' long walls on our hayshed. Hoping to get metal up before winter. 4000 square feet to cover, not going to be fun.
So now the concretes curing, and you can walk on it. Have you thought about doing an Epoxy coat on it in a few weeks? It sure makes a nice finish, doesnt stain and repels oil etc. I used the inexpensive stuff from Home Depot, but it's still a great finish for $99.00 for two gallons
I was actually considering color at the batch plant, they wanted 500 to 700 bucks. I have lived with uncolored in my other shop for 35 years. I can use those bucks for wiring etc. Thanks for the tip on epoxy, will look into that.
It's easy to apply, just roll it on and throw the sprinkles in the air. You won't have to worry about oil or grease spills. I did my lift area 48'x24' with two kits, which is 4gallons. $198.00
