Yes. It runs on 120 or 240. I have been using it with the 120.

Yooper. I have to make a correction. My Lincoln 140 amp mig welder only runs on 120. Doesnt have dual capability. That was the mp I was looking at. Gotta love getting old!!

These welding machines seem to be getting pretty popular, that is why I asked. I've never tried one, but if ever get the chance, I'd like to give it a go.

And if you know how to run a bead of caulk, you can lay down a mig weld.

Nicely done kidd......

If you were closer I would surely let you take it for a spin. Like I said I had never welded till I bought it. I knew some basics being around heavy equipment all my life, but it has been very user friendly and very handy to just carry it where you want and plug it in and weld. I welded up my ballast box with it using .035 flux core wire, which was 1/4" stuff and it hasnt fell apart yet!!

On a side note, I deer hunted 2 years in a row in Almond Wisconsin, just a little north of the center of the state by Stevens point. Absolutely fell in love with the area. Beautiful country there. Hope to go back again.

I found the 5/16" chain at Lowes of all places. It was orange grade 43, 12ft long with grade 70 hooks on it in a package for like $28.00. I wanted 2-6 footers so I bought another set of hooks and cut in half. I was wanting to get that chain but never dreamed you could get it already painted orange! Bonus. They actually had it orange on a roll you could buy by the foot.

Stopped by our local Lowes store today. They had the orange 12' grade 43 (rated at 4,300 lbs) like you mention. Price was just less than $30. The bulk 5/16" chain was only rated at 1,900 lbs, but cost $3.34/ft. Bulk was more expensive for a weaker chain.

Well after recovering from a cold I had for over 3 weeks that my grand kids gave me at Christmas, it was time to get back out in the shop and do something to help pass the winter away. I decided to fab up a couple more tool boxes after there were a few members that expressed some interest, lescarpentier and ao9488. If anyone is interested pm me.

Great job great location. I thought I nailed it with a canvas bag behind the cup holder until I saw this. Next fab job for me coming up. I am using light grade 5/16 x 20 as I like more space between me and what I am pulling. I have extra double hooks if I need to shorten the chain. Still to have an orange chain on my lil orange tractor will be one more thorn in all the Blue and Green tractor guys sides.

I am sharing this link on my post just so I can always find it.

Rkidd, did you get my PM from early Fri am? I'm wondering if I did it right, or if my computer is having issues....

Here is what I did to replace the "tiny" tool box I had.

Looks great. Looks like a perfect fit between the rops and you should have plenty of room in that toolbox!!! We sure need a toolbox that will hold more than a pair of gloves and a screwdriver!!! I did something along those lines also so I could have all the tools I need with me. On my B2650 I had to cut the SMV sign bracket off and move it over and back to install a bigger toolbox and be able to open it.

What's the price on a box?

Also, not sure if it was already mentioned, but how is it mounted to the tractor?
