Well another thing that you could/should do is to replace the rear main oil seal on the engine. If you decide to replace this seal you need to remove the flywheel. Mark with something like a sharpie maker pen the alignment of the flywheel to the crankshaft. When reinstalling the flywheel the alignment marks make the job much easier. The bolts holes make it look like the flywheel can go on in any position and there is no dowel pin to help with the alignment. The bolt holes are actually different distances apart and there is only one correct way for the bolts to go. However the difference is so slight it is hard to see.
Thanks... Great suggestion. Any chance you have a rear main seal part number for the B7100-D. I could not locate the seal in my parts book. It may be some obscure Kubota part name I'm missing.

Is there a lot more dis-assembly required to get at the rear main seal on the Kubota? I'm hoping it is not like replacing a rear main seal in an auto engine. :(

Unless there is oil slick on the back side of the flywheel, DO NOT dive into a rear main seal change, you'll be opening up a huge can of worms IMHO! ;)

OK so today was not as hot and the humidity was much lower. The clutch was working fine like it has in the past.
