Love seeing your dogs. We lost our Lacey this past June, six weeks before her 14th birthday. Hurt like heck. They're family. Not sure we'll ever get another dog.

You have to remember while it was 14 of your years it was 88 of her years, and I'm sure she loved every moment of it! ;)

I feel your pain origami and I feel the same but remember good family's aren't as easy to come by as we would like to think. Yes the pain of losing one of our family is almost unbearable but the happiness and love of having a new little buddy to share your life with is a gift I'm not sure I can do without. All the best to you my friend.

Fate the Akita hasn't been feeling well lately. Been under a Vet's care for a while, still trying to get the meds adjusted.

Great Granddaughter Izzy knows the puppy doesn't feel well and figured she needed a hug and a chest rub...

John - - that's a Harman XXV pellet stove. They're part of Quadra-fire now.

We've had it about 13 seasons. It was expensive, but it heats the house. I burn <20 gallons of fuel oil through the boiler.

Only requires cleaning every couple weeks in mid-winter, and I can service and repair it.

I've found that some stoves just don't cut it.....
