Loader Won’t Lower All The Way

Thank you. It was a geometry problem. It was not seated correctly. Once I seated it correctly it all works fine. Thank you.

Loader Won’t Lower All The Way

Hi. LA203A loader with BX1870. Don’t use loader often. Just attached it yesterday and while I was able to use all the functions it will not lower all the way to the ground. When I put it in float position it lowers to about 6 inches of the ground and stops. 2 recent things done (not sure if...

    2014 bx1870 questions/concerns

I have a 2013 BX1870. It also had the moisture behind the dash panel glass. It would come and go. I had it in for other service and the dealership noticed it and replaced it for me under warranty. I have not had the same problem with the new one (although replacing it did reset the hour...

    BX1870 vs BX2370

Hi. I've got the BX1870. For me it is perfect. I have a small residential lot and I use it for snowblowing (BX2750D), moving (54" fine cut), and some loader work from time to time. The extra cost of moving up to the 23HP machine was around 3K. I really wanted to smallest machine I could get...

    BX1870 Front Drive Shaft Rubbing

Hi. I just noticed that the front drive shaft (for 4WD) on my BX1970 has rubbed against a bolt at some point in the past. I have uploaded a picture. I think that this happened when the front end of the tractor flexed a little bit. It looks to me like the front end is on a center pivot so it...

    BX1870 for 1 acre?

Hi. I've got a similar sized yard, and I went with the BX1870. I do have the BX2750D blower and it worked great this winter. Looking forward to trying the FEL this summer. I am sure the machine is a bit of overkill for both of us, but it is a great little machine and I did a lot of reading...

    New Owner

Hi. I also have a new BX1870. Almost 20 hours on it now, all blowing snow with BX2750D blower. I have loaded (RimGuard) rear tires, but no other rear weights. Snowblower works fine with just the loaded tires. If tires weren't loaded then rear weights probably would be needed.

BX 1870 vs. BX 2370 vs. BX 2670

I've got the BX1870. I can't obviously compare the power to the other 2 machines you are looking at, but I can you my experience with mine. I have about 17 hours on it, all blowing snow. Other than one storm when we got really heavy wet snow, it had absolutely no problems even at less than...

    BX2750D Blower Set Screws

Popped off the cover on my BX2750D blower today to oil the chain. Happened to notice that the pin was sticking out and when I touched it, I was able to slide it freely. Not good. Looked further and the set screw that is supposed to hold it in place was entirely missing. Other set screw was...

    BX1870 Experience

Right now I have no plans to get a cab. Tractor will not fit in garage with ROPS raised, so that is kind of a limiting factor. Probably cannot really justify the cab anyway (could not really justify the tractor itself, but that is another story...). I have not had a lot of really icy...

    BX1870 Experience

Have had my BX1870 for a couple of months now. Thought I would share my experience and address some specific things that I had a hard time finding out before I bought it. My setup is BX1870, turf tires, BX2750D front-mount blower, and LA203A loader. About 12 hours on it so far, all blowing...

BX2751 Quick Hitch with Snowblower question

Hi. New to the forum. Just got a new BX1870. Also got the LA203A loader and the BX2750D snow blower. The blower is connected to the tractor with the BX2751 Quick Hitch. In the owners's manual for the quick hitch, it says (in 3 different places): "IMPORTANT: To avoid damage to the drive kit...
