Seems to me it would be a lot easier to just plug in the tractor block heater. Very easy to activate remotely when needed via Google Home or Echo? if you have a computer and wifi.

hi you have been recommend as the go to guy
i have a b8200hst i am losing drive when the oil heats up
new hydrostatic pack / strainers / flushed out the system
back end oil seem ok as it lifts plough no bother etc

any suggestions

Her favorite mare, she bred to her Gray Stud is due and acting,,well you know goofy,,lol that will be a good present for her.

First of all, thank you for your videos on YouTube. Without them, I would be lost. You are doing a great service for all of us new to tractors.
Secondly, I just bought an L3901 and had three rear remotes installed.
Each is a float detent valve.
One is for the rippers in my box scraper.
One is for tilting my 3-point
One is for topping my 3-point.
I haven't tested the ripper one yet.
When I push the topper lever forward, the rear of the implement (a rotary mower) lifts.
If I push further, the whole thing drops to the ground.
Should pushing the lever forward lift the back of the mower, or lower it?

Sorry for the delay, but I just noticed your message this morning. I guess this forum does not notify about visitor messages.

Anyway, I installed a cooling fan (https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00065JM8U) in mine. It draws 1.2 amps on high and half that on low. The B7100 dynamo (10 amps) has no problem with that, even with LED worklights front and rear.

That said, the fan mount broke from metal fatigue after about 15 months. I think it was the rocking and rolling from hanging from the roof while bouncing over uneven terrain.


Morning Torch, I have seen several of your post about B7100 tractor. I have a B7100 HST-D purchased in 1996. The tractor is in perfect condition but in central Texas I am considering building canopy and would like to install a cooling fan in the canopy.

Hi, did you end up turboing the b7100 you have? I have a 1981 b7100D and have considered turbo’ing it. Just curious if your experience. Thanks, James.

Hi bcp. A couple of years ago you posted that you had found replacements yokes for a B2551 snowblower at NAPA. I don't suppose you still have that part number available, do you? I'm trying to piece together a B2660 snowblower and am wondering if the yokes could possibly be identical.
