My guess is based upon the wiring on my L35:
Both are thick wires so I believe something to do with the starting.
Does the tractor start?
Is the starter on that same side?
If yes:
The red may have been connected to one side of the starter with the heavy battery cable.
The striped may be on the other side of the starter, which is the starter relay.
The red would have power all the time.
The striped would have power when you turn the key to start.
I hope this is correct. Hopefully you have a wiring diagram

If you've got a multimeter - even a cheap one with a buzzer, you can trace the wires.
Disconnect the battery if you do this.

Thanks for the reply. The tractor starts and seems to run fine. I get error code p0202 on the instrument panel. Not sure what that is. I think if I can find where the wires go I can fix it fairly easy.

Sorry I couldn't help but I'm not familiar with that machine.
I'm sure someone on here can help with the P0202.

My last shot is alternator. Any wires missing?

It goes to those wires that are chewed in the bottom side of the pic wrapped in plastic conduit. Make a jumper… wire them back together….then cover them ALL in conduit.

Find a cat.
