Just wondering how many have put wheel spacers on on their BX's. What are the advantages? Will it void the warranty? Any other information I need to know if I decide to purchase them (or whether I should).

I'll tell you this - made more of a difference than you can imagine ............

Until you drive a BX without spacers ............. then place on - and go along that same old hillside - you will literarily feel it in the seat of your pants.

Kubota OFFERS spacers ..... so NO will not void warranty.

IF MMM installed - be careful of width of spacer.

I have 2" on mine - and really good money spent

I myself have had a hard time trying to figure out what width I should get. I have an 1880 with a 54" MMM. But can't seem to find specific with I need. I definitely want to do them though!

be careful with the width WITH the MMM - the outer wheels will hit the tires if pushed out too far.

Exactly! I just don't know how to find out what size works lol. I've heard you cant go out max width because of the mower. Too bad actually as I've seen 2" spacers and the overall stance is awesome. Looks wicked stable.

I don’t have a mower but I do have a loader, I also till several gardens. My tiller is 48 inches wide so I don’t want to go too wide. A little stabilizing wouldn’t hurt though. I’ll have to do some measuring and see what I can do. Thanks for the info.

My son in law's BX23S we put on 2 inch spacers because he does not have a MMM. My BX2200 with the MMM, I could only use 1.25 inch spacers

Both were cheap and well made off ebay, or amazon, or walmart.

Made for a jeep but work on the BXs perfectly.

There are threads here and at TBN on this subject with specifics if you search and are interested.

I think with a 60" MMM - 2" is max ......
with the 54" - the 1.25 are the max

2" on the BX25D is almost 48" wide once installed - so the bucket is 48 and the rears are almost the same.

I'll never use a MMM on my BX23S, but have moved mountains of compost/fill/oil with it.20-30 tandem loads every Spring. I've never needed wheel spacers, however you do need 'ballast' out back, so I leve the BH on.
As for tillering, there's never been a 'stability' issue.Used to do about 5 ac 2-3 times a years. Can't see how as the soil is already a 'garden'....so reasonably flat and level ? Got me curious as to what 'stability issue' you're experiencing ??

Greensvillejay; You would be surprised at some of the places people put their gardens but mostly I was concerned about the width. I don't want my tires to be wider than my tiller. As for the stability issue, that is when I'm using my loader. Not all places are as level as I would like so more stability would help.

I have 1-1/2” spacers on my BX24. I added them to give me clearance for tire chains. With 1-1/2” spacers, the loader bucket is still wider than the rear tires.

I measured my tractor rear wheels 45”. My loader bucket measured 46 1/2” and my tiller 48”. So I guess I would be ok with the 1 1/2” spacers. That would make my rear tires 1 1/2” wider than my bucket which wouldn’t be too bad and even with my tiller so that should work also. Three inches doesn’t sound like much but may make more difference than it sounds like it would. I wanted a little wider tiller when I bought mine but couldn’t find anything under 60” which I thought was too much for my tractor.
