I have filled R14 tires, OM states 32 psi, I run 12 psi now after several weeks lowering it by 5 psi till I found a comfortable yet operational pressure. Your may be more or less depending on tractor weight and attachments.
In my loaded R4, I have it a round 20psi. I'm thinking about lowering it a bit more to 12-15psi to help with traction. Thought I double check what's everyone else is doing. Thanks everyone.
I checked mine today after having the local tire shop over for getting ballast
in one 12.4 x 24 AG and a new outer valve stem in the other.
Let air out of both tires till I hit 20 PSI . Roll bar top bolts no longer
scraping the shed door header. Ill try this PSI for a spell but will probably let more out per the majority here. Currently have no 3pt implements .
ballasted R4’s on 4701 at about 12# rear, 25# fronts air only. With that I still am a little too rounded but I haven’t dropped it any more. I’d guess I’m getting 90% tread contact on hard surface. Still rides a little rough for my full satisfaction but that’s just R4 for ya....they be stiff!
