Thank You Sir. I had a very enjoyable day. All three of the kids and some of the Grands and G Grands called and sent me well wishes.

Thought we’d try something different and very fresh.

Actually, wife saw a little garter snake in the attached garage 5 feet from kitchen door.

Found it under a freezer. Snatched it with a long pair of commercial kitchen tongs. I still use them all the time. Work like an extension of my hand.

Didn’t want to just kill it. Hopefully it still has a chance.

Tried to grab it as low as possible without breaking. Was moving in tight quarters, so it was a good grab.

The most tender pork chops that we have ever eaten.
IMG_2712.JPG

Anyway, she let them soak in buttermilk while the air fryer heated up. (New Emeril Lagasse 360) Seasoned and dusted with Panko bread crumbs. Then about 15 minutes on whatever heat it was on.

EDIT: Turned the picture.

(Don't know why but all of a sudden this thing would not allow me to turn the picture.)

Nice way to have Saturday dinner fireside.

Lobsters, local sweet corn, salt potatoes, homemade chicken tenders, pasta salad and store-bought egg rolls.

Air Fried Apples
IMG_2868.JPG

Da Recipe.
IMG_2869.JPG

I had sorta green Red Delicious Apples so that is what I used. I did not peel one to see what it would do ??
IMG_2870.JPG

Stirred them around in the bit of oil and into the Air Fryer basket.
IMG_2871.JPG
Then into the mixing bowl with the Syrup, Sugar, & Cinnamon.

The peel was OK but I will peel them all next time. It did not seem like enough ingredients (amount) but it was enough to coat them but without any syrup that would be normal with Stewed Apples. I cooked them for 16 minutes but I think that even 20 minutes would be OK. Mine were not completely soft on the inside.

I cook these about once a week. Not a big fan of the ones with cream cheese, so I try different things. I marinade the chicken breast for a day or 2 and freeze for later. Smoke @ 180 for about 1 hour and crank it up to 275 for 30 minutes. Gonna throw these on the smoker around 5:30 this afternoon. 🐔
