The good thing is that I still have a dozen more oysters & shells and 2 filets in the frig for tomorrow. The oysters are shucked and the shells are washed. I'll preheat the shells a bit before I drop the oysters, etc. back in for broiling. Two more filets were vacuum sealed and frozen for next time.

Gotta remember to take pics more often.

Carne Asada and Poblanos Rellenos last night - roast those peppers, stuff with cheese, batter and deep fry, one of my favorites!

Today for lunch we did it a bit differently.

She breaded her Oysters in a cornmeal mixture and fried them. I skillet broiled the Redfish in Wishbone Italian Dressing flesh side down before flipping it over.

Both turned out "mighty fine" !!!

One regular, one unleaded.

It’s about 40 degrees in the garage, so they can hang out there a while.

Add to those chicken tenders and potato skins....

Just 2 of us; I hope we have enough.....🤓

I’ll add some shredded cheddar when they’re almost done....

Well I'm traveling for work and have to spend Super Bowl Sunday at a hotel in Wichita KS by my lonesome, instead of home with my wife. 🥺🥺🥺

So I ran up the old expense account. Got linguine positano from Carrabas and Tirimiisu for dessert 😎😎😎😎

I also have a meat and cheese platter to munch on while I watch the game 😁😁

Carrabas is one of my favorite places to eat. Always clean, great service and reliable food. Had 2 in my area but bout a year ago they closed the one in Cary, NC.

I used to live near one when I lived in Florida. Absolutely one of my favorites. It's been about 5 years since I ate at one. I'll order from them again this week . Especially since work is footing the bill 😎😎😎😎

Got a nice doe roadkill the other day. Ground most of it and made jerky. Started at 35lb of grind, I'm not sure of the total finished weight yet. It's "cookin" now.
