Got some sirloin pieces marinating in spicy curry. They’ll go on a screamin’ hot grill until rare/med rare....probably will get a shot of oil to really get things cranking. Only a couple minutes and done.

Tried the vacuum sealer....worked good, but doesn’t draw too tight on the moist food setting. Probably a good thing... I did hold it up as Ford suggested, but it still got close.

Posted the recipe for sheepfarmer....this is like something she might like. 👍

I don’t put them on skewers, as I want to pull the pieces as they’re getting done. I typically halve some peppers and roast them with a little marinate in them, like a bowl.

For what it’s worth, here’s a great BBQ for shrimp. That cookbook is 30 years old - same one curry beef is in. Gotten pretty beat up...we keep it in a ziplock bag now...

First time we did this, it was a big splurge for us to buy 2 pounds of shrimp due to the $$.

Most of it was eaten right off the grill...never made it to the table...😳 Thus my wife’s GOOD! comment on the page....😎

Temperatures have dropped. Hard frost yesterday morning.
Beef burgundy over egg noodles.....

Little veg, garlic and thyme......

Deglaze with couple cups burgundy, add beef back and broth or water (1 can broth here)...maybe a bay leaf or two....cover/simmer a while....

Thicken with some roux, I use some pretty thin here;

The Mrs. is not a fan of mushrooms... common to this.
About done.
