2 4D can only be purchased in small quantities with out a license. I have to hit 2 stores to get enough to treat my yard. That's with both my wife and I buying a bottle

I am 62 years old. There is no way that I look anywhere near the age of a minor.

Daren, I buy 2-4-D in 2ea 2 1/2 gal. bottles (total 5 gal.) at a time and get a discount from the county, just to help them keep noxious weeds under control.

I think there may be a limit based on how many acres you're treating.

Depends on the state. Arkansas, you can't get more then a pint unless you have a liscense. Was talking to a guy the other day that has a horse ranch near you. Said he gets Nine jugs from the the county a year because they passed that law outlawing those purple nettles. And that folks will get fined if they have them on your property.

Some stores I've bought spray paint from require the teller to scan your ID in order to complete the sale. The same as some convenience stores do for tobacco or beer sales. Been in one store they required it for a Power Ball ticket

I know that this is kind off subject a little but now I am wondering what concentration you are mixing your 2,4-D at. Also, do you use any surfactant with it?

I just follow the instructions on the bottle for what it recommends for the grass I have.

No way I believe that... You mean tsc actually has 2 of anything?

You can get all you want, from agrisupply, down south, and they'll ship it to you...

Yep, those purple flowered plants are considered a noxious weed, but some folks are ignorant. They dig them up and plant them around their house, declaring they are so pretty!!
