I am looking at the wiring schematic for a B2920 and I see little numbers ranging from 0.85 to 0.5 to 2.0, etc. They appear right next to the wire color. What does these numbers mean? Thanks.
That's the wire size, in square mm's I think.I am looking at the wiring schematic for a B2920 and I see little numbers ranging from 0.85 to 0.5 to 2.0, etc. They appear right next to the wire color. What does these numbers mean? Thanks.

That is true in metric ..... were as SAE - it is a$$ backwards ..... like shotguns.... smaller GAUGE means biggerThat makes sense. The larger the number, the thicker the wire. Thanks.
If you think of “gauge” as “how many times did it get rolled thinner” it makes good sense. So 2 gauge (twice through rollers) is thicker than 10 gauge (10 times through rollers). That is true in metric ..... were as SAE - it is a$$ backwards ..... like shotguns.... smaller GAUGE means bigger
