Mowed 6 acres and cleaned the deck. Lots of clover this time of year and it sticks to the bottom of the FDR2584 well. I love the clover smell though.

Side note. Can someone tell me if these are R14's or some type of R4?

Those appear to be the latest version of R4 tires. There was a tire grooving thread a while back in which I erroneously showed a photo of the same tires and referred to them as R14 tires but @Orange man corrected me.

Can confirm the R14s. Got ‘em on my LX2610SU. My little LX got a butt like J-Lo with the big R14s.

I think the bigger question here is what the heck are you doing looking at an L60 tractor, and most likely an L6060? Step away from the vehicle! 😂😂😂

Seriously though, if you're thinking of upgrading (which you mentioned a few weeks ago), an L6060/MX6000 with a cab would be a really nice upgrade, with either the new R4 or R14 tires.

My girl is looking sad these days. She won't even take a good picture anymore. Of course the crap in the bucket doesn't help.

Talked to my guy at Deviney (our tractor dealer) yesterday. Looks like shes going to head on in probably 3 weeks or so from now. Berries will mostly be done by then, and i'll be able to do without her for a bit.

They're going to get her face all straightened out and possibly another loader. I caught ten shades of hell putting the loader back on a couple weeks ago. I think she might be a little tweaked.

Things are changing that I'm going to need the increased loader lift capacity sooner than I thought. My largest pto need is the FDR2584 which Landpride rates at 15-60hp. I'm also going to have to lose the front blower i love so much. One is available for the Grand L but i dont want to have to switch back and forth a few times a month. Probably going with a 74" rear blower and a pusher.

The LX3310 has 27 pto hp. Was looking at a minimum of the 4760 for the heavier front axle and LA1055. It has 39.5 pto hp. 5460 has 46.5 and the 6060 sits at 53. I'm probably going to split the difference with the 5460. Waiting on pricing now.

Regarding the tires. I have R14's now and really like them but I've never seen them on a GL. Waiting to see what my options are.

Got in there a little too deep pushing small trees over where the end of driveway 2 is going to be. Had her bowed up pretty good a few times. Loader aint popped off right ever since. Also put a tiny little dip in the bucket. You know, just being stupid.

I'm in a orchard style setting. My tractor is basically a grass cuttin queen majority of the time. Got no business doing work like that with a loader that small.

Gonna be a tad bit smarter round 2. And definitely get a dang grill guard.

I think we've all pushed the envelope with our tractors. The more we succeed with the more we try😉

I mentioned @5ELEVENDESIGNZ for the guard. I'm pleased with the present guard and I'll be putting in a order for another one once I get things finalized.

How often do you clean the grease out of the loader pins and regrease? Mine is looking quite...messy 🤣 at least it's greased.

I've been on a tractor or two most days over the past couple of weeks getting the area for the new barn/shed cleared in preparation for digging out lots of dirt. Also running the flail as well as chipping away at the second driveway. The pallet fork "turnover ball" I made recently is proving to be useful. I have an old camper trailer rolling chassis that I use to store wood (and some other stuff) off the ground and it needed to be moved.

I might be removing the front axle at some point when I build an hydraulic gauge wheel extension for the rear blade.

Exciting times! Would you opt for a pull type rear blower?

I wouldn't worry about it unless you took the loader off. Wipe it down before you put it back on.

No, when we get snow it can be 4+ feet deep and wet. I'll probably rig up a camera to use and conventional rear blower.

There still working on a price for me with my trade.

i dont. i just put i new grease until i see fresh grease leak out. the old grease keeps the pins from rusting.
