What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I’m with @Moose7060 but on a MUCH smaller scale.

I think I mowed last time today.

Need to do a motor oil change and then get to putting the blower and chains on.

We’re supposed to warm up into the 60’s F for a few days, but I’m okay making the winter transition sooner than later.

They are beasts! I actually had it off this morning to put on the chipper to take care of limbs from a pine I dropped a couple weeks ago. I didn’t think to take any pics.

Not specifically using my kubota but because of the firebreaks it helped me create was able to get the ten acres that will be planted in longleaf pine burned off.

I have never had the hoe off my L48 TLB, and probably never will.
I have a sweet little 32 HP Ford (Shibaura) for other duties.

I got the Jeep's winter hat back on this morning after running all summer with the soft top. The pallet forks really makes it a one-man job, both getting the hardtop on and off. It's getting colder now and no doubt snow is just a few weeks away.

I did exactly that when I sold the SnugTop that was on my F250 for decades. I used a pallet with some 2"x4" extensions screwed to the pallet. I'll find a photo.

On my old Ford Ranger I would take the screws out on the window cylinders so the back window could fully open and was able to get the forks in far enough to work.

Filled up all the wildlife waterers(tubs, troughs and totes). Moved a temporary livestock water trough to my road/cattle lane. The only green grass left on the place is on the edges of my road. We could use some rain, the El Nina is not gonna help us over the Fall/Winter months.

Cows have a few more days of forage out on the road. They didn't seem to bother to be locked in, one or two of them fussed a little bit yesterday evening at the gates to go back in the front pasture.

Thank you. It sure moves snow . I have to take the subframe off for summer time because it limits ground clearance for commercial mowing. Some years it goes on good. Some not haha

I cut the grass for the last time this year. I need to clean up the rear finish mower and place it on a stack of pallets for the winter. I have no room to put it inside, so I am thinking of building a small enclosure over it and putting a tarp over the enclosure to keep the rain and snow off of the mower. I will make it so the air can circulate under the cover so hopefully it will keep it in good condition. Then it is time to take the loader off and get the snowblower installed along with the weight box. I purchased a set of R4 tires, and I am thinking of putting studs into them for plowing on the paved driveway. I have been using turf tires for the last 20 years with no problems, but if we get heavy wet snow I will need the studs for the extra traction. With any luck, I hope to have my old 1979 F250 plow truck running to aid in blizzard conditions. My wife is still in rehab and I have no idea when she will be coming home, so I have to do double duty getting ready for the winter. I also need to get a wheelchair ramp built and not sure exactly how I am going to engineer that.

Depending on what you need, how fast you need it, budget, and whether you plan to make it a permanent addition, a prefab aluminum ramp can be a reasonable option that is quality and quick to install. Not cheap, but neither is pressure treated decking, particularly if you have to add labor rather than DIY. BTDT. Example:

Mine are 48". I screwed 2x4s to the pallet since it wasn't wide enough to support the width of the SnugTop.
