So I buried my Kubota in the mud today🤬
Was getting some roots out next to the pasture that we’re driving me nuts. Couldn’t grade the ground to help with drainage. All was going well theeeeeeen buried. Tried pulling it out with the truck. Nope. Have to wait until morning and my neighbor is bringing his big tractor over. Hope we can get it out. Went right to the frame.

Sucks but if you’ve never been stuck you haven’t been off the pavement much.

Which got me to thinking: Of all the cars, trucks, tractors, ATV’s, mowers I’ve ever had so far I haven’t gotten my wife’s current car stuck. Everything else has been stuck at some point.

So far I’ve been able to push the Kubota out with the loader so not sure if that really counts. Wife’s car doesn’t leave the pavement. If it ever does, I’m sure we’ll get it stuck.

Cut weeds in a rain water drain/holding area with the Land Pride Brush Hog and then pulled out two dead trees with a logging chain .... then I had breakfast LOL

Used the loader to turn the compost, took of loader and ballast box, mowed lawns. Fiddled with caps over hydraulic connections for loader because they don't stay on. I know people don't like the single lever coupler, but the pioneer also suck.

Got confirmation from Messicks that my alternator upgrade (the Japanese assembled B2601 still has the dynamo, the US-assembled B2601 has an alternator) and my pin on quick attach are both arriving soon, and will be shipped to me. Very excited.

My neighbor came down with his M7060 and we walked it right out. Thank heavens it wasn’t a JD!

Hoping to get my underground dog fence installed today. Figured I should probably sort this mess out first. Been putting it off because of the heat. Root rake grapple, box blade were the tools for this job.

ran the lower tines at about ground level using the curl to change the angle and then lifting up and down to keep it scraping. Then dropped the scarificers to max aggressive dig and ran up and down the area until it was all broken up. Followed by lifting the scarificers up and adjusting the top link to make the blade it’s least aggressive to level it out. 163 hrs on the machine and my only regret is not buying it sooner!!

Ouch, tight to the fence.....

The bucket might have helped you get out. Thinking the grapple wasn't much help.

But again, tight to the fence.....

We've all been there!

I buried our old 'Moline as a teenager. Took a shortcut to our firewood cutting spot on our farm. I was way off our normal tractor trails. There was no bottom....

Dad was so mad. I don't remember anything for the rest of the day.....🤪

A few days later, a neighbor farmer hooked his IH 1486 to it....was all it wanted to do to pull it.
