What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

A couple of weeks ago I managed to get in on the Rural King Talon seat deal for $47 shipped. I just got it installed on my B7200HST-D a few days ago and it was a definite increase in comfort. Rather than feeling like I was always sliding off the front, my butt now feels firmly planted in place. It fit right up to the stock pivot points from the stock seat using slightly longer bolts. The only modification I had to make was replacing the rear seat springs with two rubber bumpers. The springs simply pushed the back of the seat up too high and tilted it forward. With the two shorter bumpers in place, it's fine.

I put a bar across the slides to engage the bumpers because it leaned too far back on my L245.

Oh and I used my tractor to tension some fencing wire I was putting up.

Nice seats, fantastic price. I added full suspension to mine (via RK) as well.

Stopped at the Kubota dealer and picked up 2 tie rod ends and boots for my new acquisition. 175 bucks each..... ouch.

I've spent a LOT of time filling in trenches and digging out existing ones with my L3901.
The new bh77 and my FEL have proved invaluable while replacing my septic.
Good friend brought out his old trackhoe to do most of it

The sun came out so I attempted to get out and knock down some grass. Hit the high are where my neighbor used to have a paddock for his horse. Found a few large rocks (not with the brush hog) a lot of particle board and a few down treesThe mud and standing water actually worked somewhat to my advantage to help get the horse crap off the wheels. On tap for today is to power wash the mud off. Another bonus was the opportunity to burn a good Padron while mowing.

Nothing beats horse poop for a good brown coating. Wash it on your lawn, makes good fertilizer.

Installed the 540 / 1000 pto yesterday morning. Flat rate manual says 2 hours, we did it in 2.5 hours minus refilling the hydraulic fluid. The new unit increases the fluid capacity by 4 quarts to 56 quarts. Hardest part was getting the unit on the alignment dowels. It's heavy, almost 100 pounds. PTO shaft exchange is easy (comes with a 540 and 1000 shaft). Pull the external snap ring and switch the shafts. Takes about a minute.

Got my Rhino Hide Canopy installed on my BX2370. If I was smart enough I would post pictures. I fits and looks good.

Painted and mounted a full set of three Ken's hooks and a pair of his clevis mounts. I can't believe these things aren't standard on buckets! I scratched up the paint literally two minutes after I finished mounting them by hoisting up a 2.9L V6 engine/transmission onto my trailer for a run to the salvage yard. I actually felt good about scratching them up a bit. That shiny new paint really made the rest of the tractor look dingy by comparison.

Cleaned the windows on the cab tractor, tomorrow I'm cutting hay and trying out my 2 speed PTO.

Finished the facelift on the L245. Ran out of paint or the wheels would have got a coat too.

Didn't do anything TODAY but Tomorrow, I am having to use my B3200 and put the forks on the front loader to remove my leaking 40 gallon water heater out of the garage. I'll use the tractor to raise the new heater on its stand.

Used my forks to lift a couple of old fridges into the junk truck today. Electric company is giving me $50/per in bill credits to get rid of my beer fridge and shop fridge.

Sad to say, my neighbor's little donkey died last night, so we took off the brush hog and re-installed the backhoe. They are devastated to lose her, but it felt good to be able to bury her for them. It was 91F here today and not a pleasant day to be out working in the sun, but Kubby and the BH77 backhoe got the job done.

Oh, and it didn't rain today. A blessing!

Brush Hogging yesterday the AC belt started squealing so I finished the last couple hours roasting, even with the fan on high speed.
So today before starting I pulled the AC belt and the alternator belt while in there and headed to town. I had to get some other things at the auto parts store so I figured a belts a belt right. Wrong! I even had the old belts in hand. Got home, didn't fit. Go back to town. This time went to the Kubota dealer armed with the serial number. They brought out the two belts and wouldn't you know the numbers on the new and old belts were the same.
Should of went there in the first place!
$2.00 more than the auto parts store.
Right belt first trip to town, Priceless!

Fixed up some of the driveway after last week’s flooding.
Just used the box blade, and worked great.
Might get another 2 or 3 yards.....

Hooked the 450 New Holland round baler on the Cab M9, turned on the ac, let it cool down and proceeded to round bale hay. I love the 450, it's all computer driven, Just like watching a video game from the tractor seat. All I have to do is stop when it tells me to, open the tailgate, out comes a round bale, close the tailgate and continue on.

Time to put the Land Pride bat wing chopper on and chop some stubble. Nice having two tractors. The chopper will go on one while the baler stays on the other.
