Mowed about 10 acres over the weekend. The weather was perfect, especially on Sunday! Made good time and was about 30 seconds from finishing up when I hit a mesquite stump with the shredder breaking the shear bolt. Better when I was finished, than if it would have happened as i was beginning.

Lil Foot, thanks for the compliment. I'm about 15 miles South/Southwest of Ft. Wayne.

Had to shift gears and implements this evening. Ran the brush hog over some of my watersheds. They are growing like weeds. Literally and figuratively.:)

Fired mine up and drove it up to the land and fished the creek for a while then took it for another 2 mile ride. Last real workout was in March moving snow and she ran like a top.

Got some quality seat time today. Just rebuilt one of my gearboxes and had to try her out. Love making 15' passes, it makes short work of tall grass. :D

Drained front gear lube on GR2120....got plenty on garage floor because I was impatient and tried to fit two drain pans under at once.....oh well, not sure when last guy changed it but happy the grey/black goo was replaced with a nice honey blend.....:)

Bulldog, after running a 15 footer anything smaller will seem like nothing is happening! That will spoil you fast. Nice machinery and good looking field.

Just used it to push another dead one in shop. Used a tumble mat that was retired from school gymnasium. Makes a nice cushion to nudge vehicles into shop.

Thanks D2Cat, I felt like that was a good photo op before I folded it up for the day. Your exactly right about the cut. I have a 8' 3pt cutter and it seems like it takes forever to clip a field. And when I put my 5' on my little tractor it's almost a joke but it's nice to have for tight spaces. The batwing takes half the field to turn around.

Installed home made coolant reservoir for preventing the coolant over flow when engine runs hot.
It works excellent. no more coolant over flow.
Mowing a lot and my little toy runs perfect :):):)

Nice set up. Hope you enjoy working with your brain instead of your back. I've noticed that when we get a new tool and we hurry to type something it may get spelled wrong like (toy) in place of tool. My wife knows I wouldn't buy a toy!

You are correct, I meant tool!! Not that my wife will ever read this, she found it funny there was a forum for tractors! :)

Scrurried to get mower on and loader off.
Then mowed vacant house across road before my own!! But, some of my place is just seed still.

After mowing my place, also gave the tractor a "tubby" as we call it here.

Much deserved.

It moved about 6 yards of dirt to re-do lawn and had a big spray of hydraulic fluid over it from loader line. Mud stuck everywhere to hydraulic fluid...

Couple days ago

....

Looks better now![emoji41]
