I used the grapple to remove leaves out of the ditch that runs along the side of our driveway. Then used the land plane to work the drive way up a little.

Took the grapple off to put the buck on and the land plane. I was going to remove the FEL and need the bucket to do that.

Greased the FEL, grapple and tractor. Took the FEL off the tractor to change the oil. Cleaned off the screen that is in front of the radiator and checked the air filter. Also check the hydraulic level while I was at it.

I spent the day at my land yesterday moving storm damaged trees. Early in the week we had an extremely wet heavy snow with some moderate high winds.

I am still dealing with the Scot Pine die off, which is a good thing, and anytime I have a weather event a lot of the dead but standing Scots fall over onto my trails and or prairie plantings.

It was good day to put "smiles" on my tractor. lol.

Nice! I meant to thank you for the link to the Schwaben vacuum tool that you posted in another thread. I did in fact order one as I said I would. I hope that ECS Tuning is sending you some kickbacks for sending traffic their way. :)

I wish they would! Lol!
I still pulled the lower radiator hose to fully drain the system. Even then, about a pint came out of the tool exhaust port.

Mowed with the B1700 and gathered up all the corn plant debris from the ditch with the B3200. Time for lunch and then to wash the mud off them IMG_2122.jpeg IMG_2121.jpeg

Well, I don’t plan to drive under it again. The top is done. I worked on it until I got the folded over portion of the trunk folded in half. I ran out of focus and go-go juice at same time so I stopped for the day. 🥃

Some friends bought me a $100 gift certificate from the local Kubota dealership so I'll be picking up a couple of gallons of Kubota coolant this week. With any luck I'll be changing the coolant in the MX this weekend, or next week at the latest. The M will be due for a change in the next month or so as well.

I'll be interested to know how much the MX takes. My little L calls for 6 quarts but it only took a gallon. To be honest, I did not look for a drain on the block. Working on a lot of Ford trucks, I know a good bit will hide in there. But, like my vehicles, I stay on top of maintenance. So if another 2 quarts are in the block then I'm not worried about it.

The spec sheets states 6.9 quarts which is surprisingly low. The M holds 8.5 quarts supposedly. I stopped by the dealer this morning and had forgotten that they don't stock Kubota engine coolant. They sell NAPA premixed which is the same thing according to the parts and service counter.

Probably the same as Asian Green. Not to be confused with Soylent Green. I was going to switch to this, but didn't want to mix and didn't have time to flush it several times.

I like that "stone" on the house, if it is in fact stone. Maybe it's a stone veneer. Nice project.

I spent the day using the landscape rake pulling rocks out of the backyard, and filling in the depressions in the backyard with the rocks that I was picking up. Then found some fill to cover over the holes, but not enough to blend it into the rest of the yard. It was a very long tiring day, and to top it off, I got a flat tire on the way back to putting the tractor away. Small piece of metal like a piece of a paper clip or a thumbtack. Tomorrow I will see if I can get it plugged or a patch put on the inside. It is a front tire, and they are so small that it makes them difficult to dismount and remount.

Had an apple tree damaged in a storm over the winter that was messed up enough we finished it off. That left a stump I didn’t care to mow over or around, so ground it out. While the stump grinder was on, drove up the trail through the woods we widened a few days ago and knocked out the dozen or so small stumps that were in the trail. Could have left them but IMO it’s nicer without them.
