It was just too hot and horseflies were killing me, so no pix :-(
(I love pix, but none this time)

In 2.5hrs I :

-Mounted a new Land Pride weight box (WB10), just rec'd , filled it and put it on the 3pt (see thread elsewhere)
-Moved 150lbs of bricks from point A to point B
-Dug up some compost and remnants from a burn barrel for a garden, elsewhere on the property
-Moved my old utility trailer and then mowed around where it was sitting
-Other misc mowing here and there.
-Moved a giant roll of heavy fencing from a "bad spot" to a better spot (Gawd I love pallet forks!)
-Patched a couple small holes on the lawn *(where I caught the bucket a few weeks ago....only had a bucket a few weeks now. Learning to keep it pointed up more.

Installed a set of Oregon Gator blades on my BX. I also leveled the deck, it was 1/2" high on the right side, greased all the spindles, idler pulley, center pivot, gauge wheels, and checked the oil in the gearbox. It's good the go for the rest of the season, if we get enough rain to make the grass grow. After an unusually wet spring, it's been almost two weeks with no rain, and looks like it might be a couple more before we get any decent amount.

Be curious how you like them.

I’ve used them several years. They do chop up the discharge, and do a good job on leaves.

I like them, but they’re not super-duper in my opinion.

I will get another set when the time comes.

Since I got my Kubota zero turn, my BX25D is lonely. I do have some ground work for it myself n the future but waiting on estimates for stones/boulders.
I did fab up a new pedal for the ZT to lift the deck over roots and other obstacles. When mowing (with the lap bars down) in mowing mode, I can’t reach the stock deck lift pedal while mowing as my long legs are trapped by the lap bars. I bent a piece of steel to bolt under the pedal so when the deck is lowered to mowing height (4”) I can now just move my foot forward to the new pedal and raise the deck a couple inches to clear roots while mowing.
Came out killer if I do say so myself! I even gave it a custom touch with a bicycle pedal bolted in place as well.

We’ve had campers for many years, the last one a 27’ Winnebago trailer with a huge slide. An Airstream has been on wife’s bucket list (really the only thing on her list) for almost as long as we’ve had campers. With just the two of us now we downsized into a 20’ Airstream. Had to adjust its location a little bit in preparation for getting it ready to use. Had the tractor out anyway so the trailer mover made moving a bit easier than using the truck. (And no, the trailer’s stabilizers weren’t down when I moved it.)
FD3412F6-B9D9-44A5-AB90-878C32DA4360.jpeg

The reason the tractor was out anyway. Storm damage to Dad’s apple trees. Two big chunks came out of two adjacent trees. The deer are already eating the apples so we grappled the two pieces into the edge of the woods where they can finish them in a less unsightly area. After the deer are done with them we’ll add them to a brush pile for chipping this fall.

Have a couple new mods for the BX but have been on hold due to shoulder replacement. I took my son out to help me put the front receiver on that I got from a great EBay seller. Got it for more of a tie down but never know when you might need front towing or pulling. 2705A999-77EE-4711-9D79-486CA2FA7A0B.jpeg C2A46B79-89A6-4448-B4B1-3919CE0CD0BE.jpeg 6DDEF67F-89AE-4492-86BA-C490C8BFDE31.jpeg

Also got a nice one for the rear from Ai2 but I could not break the bolts loose with one hand and I could not get impact on it due to space. Does Kubota usually put the lock washer on the bolt head instead of the nut? I could not budge it with my breaker bar 18" or so. I'll try a cheater bar next time I go out there.

This is what actually comes with the front receiver from EBay.. very well made!

Moved a ton pallet of Grand Canyon Flagstone and it was all the LA805 loader could handle. Kept her low and slow! I don’t think the LP 2142 forks liked it either. 😳

I was able to get the rear Ai2 receiver on the BX today with the help of a 3' cheater bar. 🙄 I took the original plate and placed it on the bottom sandwiching the frame in between both plates. I just need to get some 1/2" longer bolts to make it more secure.

Added a set of brackets from Ken's Bolt On Hooks. @B737 has a set on the rear of his LX rops but I didn't see a spot for them so I put them on the front of mine.

@S-G-R those came out great, did you use existing holes in the frame? I may have to do this

the holes to look for in the rear are the ones the backhoe frame attaches to, its at the lower part of the rops bar where it attaches to the case.

That's a long cheater bar! Glad you got those nuts broke loose.
I have a set of old (now called vintage) craftsman pocket sockets which I've used with mallet/sledge to beat nuts lose before.

The holes were already in the frame. I have the cab and didn't see anywhere the brackets would work for me on the rear.

Got my garden watering rig finished up. Testing it by draining the kiddos pool for cleaning. Trying not to waste that precious well water!

Garden is in a spot with no power or water within a long ways. This was my best idea I had. Had everything on hand but the pump.

pretty simple...heavy duty U-Haul dolly or harbor freight castors.

I made up a dolly the other day after watching a guy on youtube. If you dont mind me asking how do you get the backhoe to come off the tractor without using the stabilizers? Every time I have tried the tractor's rear tires have wanted to lift up which caused me to abort. Everyone on youtube made it look so easy but so far I have not been successful.

Excellent. I like that a LOT! Good job.
Thanks. It’s sorta been in planning for a month or so. Got the tank rigged up to hook up water hose and gravity feed, that worked well...ish. Then figured to add the pump for a bit of pressure for the sprinkler. Seems to work well with a oscillating sprinkler, kinda hangs up the impact type. Maybe need to get an I-25 rotator from work, they work well with lower pressure.
