. Not sure what's wrong, but the price was right, & I will check it out when I get time. Stay tuned.

I would start with cleaning or replacing the carburetor.

Got to use my BX for an hour yesterday and another hour today cleaning up the nearly foot of snow we have gotten. In addition to cleaning my drives, I clean the driveway of the widower next door. Today she brought out a dozen eggs from the chickens she keeps as payment, just as I was finishing up.
I tried using my JD430 with a blower, but the snow was too wet and just plugged it up, so I fired up the Kubota and used it.
Sure wish I had a cab on it like I do on the JD.

A carb rebuild was planned, but I also have to figure out why the engine would not start an hour after running fine when he bought it. I had an old B&S do the same thing & it turned out to be a sheared key on the flywheel. This engine seems to have low compression when you slow pull the starter rope, but it might be a model with a compression release on starting; something I will have to research.

Built a bus shelter for the kids. It's on a pallet, so it can be placed and moved about with the tractor as need be, which is super handy.

Mounted my snowblower on my B2710, along with all the greasing/lubricating required, and noticed that I was starting to get that dreaded "click" when you turn the key and there is not enough power for the starter to turn the engine over. So I bought the "Starter Relay Kit AM107421" and installed it also. Nice quick clean startup now...

Loaded my tractor up and hauled it to the dealer to get the 50 hour service. First time hauling the tractor with this trailer. I was pleased with how the SUV pulled it.

The wind foiled my leaf blower, but the Cyclone Rake kicked ass!

Brought the box blade into its winter spot.

It’s normally parked in a spot I may not be able to get to if we get a lot of snow.

I use it for ballast if things get deep, and also use it for spring snows when the stone driveway is bare and not frozen down.

Cut up a windfall back in the woods. Would have gone for a second but I was starting to tear up my trails. I’ll wait till it drys or freezes up for the next one.

Swapped out the mower blades and belt for the deck.

Threw the drive belt the last time I used the mower and put a good kink in it when it was tossed. A bloody acorn was what killed the deck belt.

Apparently it got kicked into the drive pulley and wedged in between the pulley and belt. Had to pry the acorn out of the pulley with a screw driver.

Daren, that sure is an "uptown" lift! Nice. You just need more squirrels to pick up the acorns.
Man I couldn't believe it. Got the new belt run through there and was fixing to get it onto the drive pulley when I noticed something wedged into it. At least the belt was pretty inexpensive. Between $20 and $30. I ordered the belt and a new set of blades off Amazon and the total came to around $80. Old belt was starting to get crispy.
