Dropped it off to the dealer today. I'm sure your correct. I didn't even ask but will let you know when I get it back.Wow that sucks, that's probably a pricey window.

Are you referring to my tractor? It's a 2019 and only needs a rear window if so.Well, you may learn a very valuable lesson in economics.
Dealers often don't really like to work on older tractors. They often don't have technicians who are familiar with them. So parts get replaced that are not in stock and take a lot of time to receive, or maybe not even needed. Hope that is not the case with your situation, but I'd always ask for a cost before turning a job over unknowing. Or at least ask to be notified before any parts are ordered. It is possible to spend more on parts and labor then the machine is worth.
window looks to only be 300.00 on Messick's site, I would have guessed moreAre you referring to my tractor? It's a 2019 and only needs a rear window if so.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one confused by his comment. Are you referring to my tractor? It's a 2019 and only needs a rear window if so.
HA... Proof you're human!Sorry to have confused anyone. I read post #6161 and then #6162 and combined them, when they should have been two different comments. Sorry!
No issues, I was just a little confused because I had bought a L3560 this Spring and I was fairly sure it hadn't went out of style yet.Sorry to have confused anyone. I read post #6161 and then #6162 and combined them, when they should have been two different comments. Sorry!
It's always that way the first few snow storms then it changes to... AGGGGRRRR will it never end!actually kind of fun plowing snow.
Got the tractor back this morning. Faster turnaround than expected as I just dropped it off Monday.Wow that sucks, that's probably a pricey window.
This happen to the owner of the logging company I use to work for. The skidder was down and he was using his tractor to skid logs. His son didn't get the chain hooked all the way and when he pulled off the chain hit the rear window. What a pain to replace.Today I managed to blow out the rear glass of my new L6060. Hooked up the post hole auger for the first time to this tractor and checked clearance in the highest position. Had about 3 inches to the glass. After 26 holes for new trees I returned to the house and hit a pothole in the driveway. Apparently there was enough play in all of the linkages to make up for that 3 inches. My suspension seat bottomed out about the same time the glass exploded all around me.
That sounded reasonable jk96, but of course everything is more reasonable when someone else is paying.
