A close shave as they say . . .

I moved 22 bags of cement up to the pour site (same as the stone) 6 bags at a time. I was going to boom the mixer up there too, but we bulled it up a make shift ramp. Now I need another 25 bags to finish the retaining wall then pull the forms and back fill with more #2 to be ready for the stone on the face side. I am in awe of the work this tractor does for 15hp. I did have to add a cup of oil, but the coolant and hydraulic was fine. Added 3 gal. of diesel today too. And I'm very happy I added those 5 suitcase weights . . .

I wanted a ball hitch option for my BX and didnt feel like using the 3PH or paying $100 for one.

I found one of these at Harbor Freight:
https://www.harborfreight.com/3500-lbs-step-bumper-receiver-69673.html

Flipped it over and the back holes line up perfectly, just need to be reamed out another 1/8"

Front holes need to be drilled new, not a big deal with a drill press (I used a milling machine) Uses the original screws which were long enough. I bolted right through the original drawbar so I don't lose it.

A quick spray and I'm in action. A 4" lowered hitch flipped over seems to level my brush trailer acceptably and I'm a happy camper.

Total cost like $25 if I include the paint.

Looks nice!
I have a draw bar for my 3 point with a 2" ball. Nice thing about having it on the three point is that you can back up under the hitch of what you want to tow and raise the 3 point up under it. No lifting.

I use my universal QA forklift frame on the front end, with the forks off. The Titan QA frame has a built in receiver so quick and easy to pop a ball in there. I always have something on the rear end so have yet to use it to pull a trailer.

Today I pulled trees out closer to my woods roads so that I can cut in into firewood. I have a ROPS that I need to put on it but with taking a vacation were way behind on my carpentry jobs and our own stuff. So yes a tree snubbed up and the front end climbed a lot higher than I wanted be I got the clutch in. Maybe before snw flies I will find time!

I know of two guys, one a Doctor that lost their lives on a tractor because of no ROPS. Hope you get it installed. Just a suggestion....

Today I put a new 625ca 51R battery in my 2009 B3200. The tractor had the original 410ca battery in it and it was 10 years old.
Did a whole bunch of moving stuff around with my B3200 today. I have a set of forks that attach to the front bucket and I moved an old 400 pound Onan generator with the forks. I used the draw bar in back with a 2" ball on it to move my wood splitter around. All this was to get my restored 1955 VW bug out of my barn because I am getting it ready to sell it. I have owned the bug since 1979 and restored it about 28 years ago.
Got to say too that converting to the alternator on my B3200 was the best thing I have done to it. With the new battery and just above idle, I get 14.4 volts and when first checked, the alternator was pushing 9 amps into the battery. Sure cranks faster with the 625ca battery.

I needed a holder upper (for a steel rack I'm fabricating for a neighbors 3.4 KW grid tie solar array)while I changed the rigging on my shops overhead chain fall trolley, the L3301 worked perfectly for this as usual.

It is worth a bit North of $25,000. It is a "European Deluxe" model and was originally delivered to Holland. Not a US spec car. It has the semaphores instead of blinkers, came with KM speedo and cloth interior. I added Porsche 356A drum brakes all the way around, 9" drums stock VW, 11" Drums Porsche.
It has a rebuilt 1965 Fully synchronized trans and I built an OLD School 1700 CC engine with forged pistons and Engle 100 cam. Carb is a Zenith 32 NDIX 2 barrel carb jetted for single carb applications. It came off of a mid 60's Porsche.
One thing is that it is a matching numbers car. I have the original 1192 cc, 36 hp engine that is apart but it is the original engine.

Why Not? Diesels like to be worked. When NEW, you vary speeds. You don't want to run them at full load but I am sure with a tractor that big, bush hogging isn't running it at near full load. I'd do an oil & filter change at 10-20 hours.

I attached a chain box today...just an ammo box painted Kubota orange attached using the slow moving vehicle sign bracket. Fits all my chains and looks good.

I also had a great Piranha Tooth Bar moment. Jabbed the teeth into a really stuck fence post and with a curl, it slid right out:

That BOX came out nice. Pull the chain out of there, add some ICE and add your favorite beverage!

That's a good idea with the ammo box. Might have to steal your idea. The little plastic tool box it came with is too little for anything other than some spare pins
