Started reassembling some of the ancillary engine components,
still waiting on radiator hoses and a few clamps....
AND
disassembled and cleaned the brake and clutch mechanisms.

Moving along, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Hooked up one of these to my BX25D

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004LX3AS6?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00

did some research and I find the way it "thinks" is rather impressive! You cannot hook it up wrong, senses what voltage you are charging and then only charges without cooking the gas out it!;):)

Comes with permanent battery connectors and clip on ones, so in seconds you can switch the charger on several types of machines.

I hooked it up and left it alone for 18 hours, so far is has done a noticeable job!:D

Cleaned out two steer pens (first time). The 2601 did better than I thought it would scooping into the "pack". I almost wanted it not to work as well cause I've been eying some manure grapples online. But the 60" bucket did just fine. The manure pile will be my compost project. I'm thinking my pallet forks will works well to stir and aerate it. We'll see.

Installed the 40 amp alternator kit on my 2650 and started getting the MMM installed.

Ran into a hitch on the right rear mount hitting the brake linkage.

I have the same one on mine, the dealer had on sale when I was picking up the tractor. Will keep the battery in great condition, will get extra years out of the battery in the cold parts of the world.

I have 2 of the 3500's on the wall for my truck, dual battery setup but truck always starts.

Continued the quest of replacing leaking hoses on BT600 backhoe on my BX22. The dipper cylinder is leaking out the ram so I've got both the boom and dipper cylinders off the unit. Boom cylinder for hoses and dipper for ram packing.

I built my Harbor Freight sawmill.

The reason that is important, is because I needed something to move logs now.

So I installed a quick attach on the loader arms and installed the Land Pride SGC50 grapple.

I inadvertently hooked into the wrong circuit and the grapple would only work when I was doing a bucket curl.

Watched a video and saw my error. Connected the third function valve to the correct circuit, and all was well.

Tested out the grapple by bringing a nice big log to the sawmill and made some sawdust.

Moved loader from my L2550 to the L2900, what a pain the 2900 is 1.5 inches wider and 1 1/4 in longer, thank goodness for torch and welder. works great now. now to find out why my top 4 gears on the 2550 don't work.

Eipo. I also have a B2650. I was just wondering what kit did you use to upgrade your alternator. Thanks.

Well on Sunday and Monday actually ! Dug a trench and mined 50 yards of good soil to back fill around the slab for my new house - I love progress and would have cost a few thousand if I to pay someone to do what I did, or buy the soil and just back fill.

My Kubota is saving me all kinds of money :)

Some things.

I rolled a front tire off my B2710 scraping some ice, mostly dirt away from my gate to the house. Damn it.

I also dry fitted the 3 point hitch I located for my L35 and to my total joy I found and purchased a top and tilt from the factory for a incredible price. Just for the record the t and t was much easier to source than the 3 point. Man, I could have sold 50 of them things.

Cheers,
Steve

I installed a right side fender grab handle on my L3301, and replaced the broken bucket pivot pin bolts on the LA525 loader, also while tinkering around with the tractor, it done it's first regen. @ 12.7 hours, which I thought was kinda early.

You want part number b7324. Its a kit that is sold for the b2630 but apparently fits many different models.

You also do not need to remove the steering wheel, the dash surround is held in by 4 bolts behind the side covers and 1 phillips head screw above the gauge. There is enough room once removing the fasteners to get your hands in and remove the voltage regulator and attach the included relay.

Thanks eipo. I had seen that kit listed before on here and just wondered if you used the same one and how you liked it and how it has worked out for you.
