Tractor therapy is great therapy! When you install the 3rd function you'll be so excited to install the tilt ram on that plow too. I saw a YouTube video a while back that shows a guy installed an electric linear actuator to activate the SSQA levers so you never have to get off the machine, really think that will be a project here soon.For the last two weeks its been like in the single digits during the day and below zero at night. Last night we got a little bit of snow, it was only couple inches but yesterday we got an inch from a snow squall so since today was sunny, not a cloud in the sky and in the mid 30s I decided to go out and clean up the driveway. Did I need to? Nope. But I been going through a depressive episode, life just sucks sometimes but it was nice to get on the tractor and do something to get my mind off things. What do they call it again? Tractor therapy?
It was nice feeling the warmth of the sun, forgot what it felt like haha. This really cold weather was sucking!
The snow banks were quite solid, surprised the tractor was able to just break right through it. Put it in low and lightly pushed in and lifted and curled the plow at same time and broke all the frozen snow banks. I'm impressed. My SxS wouldn't know what to do besides just spin
Got 15 hours under my belt already and I'm really happy with this tractor thus far.
Also...why is it that every time you go plowing and you want to back out into the road...there's a line of 500 cars you need to wait for.to go by? I live like in the middle of nowhere. When I don't plow, there are no cars!!

Kinda sucks having to get off everytime to change the angle, it's not a big deal but man it sure will be nice to angle it from the seat, will make plowing even faster! But then again, don't mind it taking a little longer either

I bought the blade new and it came with a pair of double acting cylinders.

Had 2 new 1/2in hyd diameter hoses made for the grapple. Took about 1 hour to sleeve them, not sure these nylon sleeves are even worth messing with.

I've been fortunate enough to never need them. However, I've been told they make life suck a lot less if a pinhole leak develops in the hose and you have body parts nearby.

These hoses are used on a 1100lb grapple, on a cab skidsteer, not worried about being sprayed etc. Most of the leaks in hoses are caused nicks cuts and galges taken out on the hose. So far it seems like I can get about 250hours out of a set of hoses from clearing land, this will be the 4th set. If I'm out of the cab, the line pressure is disabled automatically, I'm sure there is very little or minimal pressure on the lines when the machine is in park mode.
The guarding is excellent for chafing and minor cutting and nicks, but will not help much with crushing damage. I would also think in your case, sun damage.

I see no downside to sheaths or sleeves over hydraulic hoses other than the cost and the time it takes to install. I sleeved the hoses on my EA Wicked grapple, and have added sleeves to other implements. The snow blower that I bought used came with sleeved hoses for the chute angle and rotation. I like the aesthetics in addition to the added protection.
