I believe the local weatherman said the other day that if it didn't rain again until Oct 8th we would still be above average. So yeah its been wet...

Don't care I have $700 worth of grass seed in the ground and 200 trees and shrubs I have been watering since April. Bring on the skeeters, better than the fricken horse flies that get you when your busy watering fricken trees!

I live in eastern kentucky. Al Roker actually reported the flooding in our area. Local town of prestonsburg ky had a report of 8" of rain in 30 MINUTES. So yes we have flooding in my area.

We postponed the sawmilling that I had scheduled for this week. 95+ degrees and no shade is a killer and if you add the "misery index" it's even worse. I'll do some jobs at the farm and think about sawdust later.

Hot and humid here. Temp hit about 97, heat index was at 115. Been out working in the yard since 8 this morning. It doesn’t bother me to be out in it though.

We were around 94 today with high humidity. Was outside a few minutes ago and it felt like you could cut off a slice of air since it's so muggy. Supposed to be a hot one this week. Mid to high 90's with high humidity.
