Don, you said, "I do not think rotating the auger 180 will work as the holes for the shear pins will not work!
I think you have to swop right auger for left auger end for end!"

You just unbolt one shear bolt, spin the auger on the shaft, then reinsert the shear bolt.
You are correct MY BIG MISSTAKE!!
I was reading swop 180 as moving one side to the other! And not rotating 180.
Sorry for the missinforation!!

Don

I was misreading or misinterpreting it also!! Makes perfect sense now.

In my defense, I've never had to worry about that. My shear pins connect my chain driven gears to my augers at their ends. It doesn't matter how they get reconnected if the shear off.

A new paint job converting it to Kubota Orange would be a nice improvement after all these years, though.

Ah yes! I've seen the pic of your blower/others similar and always liked them. Look like snow-eating machines. 😁 (I kind of like the yellow ;) )

I have a Land Pride SB1574 with a slightly different arrangement. There's a shear pin between the output driveshaft and gear that drives the auger via a chain, and another on the PTO driveshaft coupler. Kind of idiot proof and I've yet to have to replace them.
